After our defeat to you earlier in the year, I'm hopeful Saints will be determined to put the last result right. Nothing's guaranteed though and you've put a couple of good results together, which should make it tough.

I'm pretty sure Leeds used this about 5 years ago, as part of their advertising for future season tickets

IIRC until last year, in every SL game at VP or Odsal, Saints have either stuffed us out of sight or lost.

Anyway, really looking forward to this game - despite your frailties in the backs, any pack with the likes of Menzies, Newton, Morrisson, Burgess and Lynch in it can trouble any side.

I reckon Saints will pinch it by 10 points but I'll be supporting the Bulls all the way for this one

last time we played saints we had menzies against gidley and platt against gilmour?. this time it'll be nero marking gidley and menzies against whoever plays other . plus we'll have deacon in halves as opposed to sykes. solomona replaced by morrison. Really cant decide if were stronger or weaker than last time we played. tend to think menzies would be more effective against gidley but swapping menzies and nero over would disrupt team massively. Think we'll cover handicap but result could go either way

Don't think Gidley played last time we played Saints, althiough I could be wrong.

after saturday think we'll be tempted to give burgess a shot at LF as he had a blinder there for england and raised his game and shift langley to left but otherwise thats how I'd imagine we'd line up. Think your right about gidley missing out last time . remember menzies totally shutting attack down on side of field he played last time but cant remember who was.

I don't buy into the personel side of things too much. Preparation, playing as a team, getting on and maintaining a roll and taking your chances are more important for me

No we didn't Gidley didn't play Menzies was up against young Chris Dean and Gary Wheeler.

Not sure, Think Langley is in good form and Burgess makes more impact on the edge in comparison to Langers.
