Correct me if i'm wrong but none of the people who come on these message boards pay the wages or sign the players so people who dismiss Phelps or anyone else as a waste of a quota spot are infact deluding themselves that is YOUR opinion yes your more than entitled to it but its the Chairman/Coach who fill those quota spots so its up to them to decide if people are worthy of filling a quota spot not the "fans" also now again i may be wrong on this not being a Bulls fan thats possible but sources earlier in the season suggested Orford (quota spot Owner) was going back home not just for an op but to stay there permanently now as i said things may have changed i aint a Bulls fan but as there has been no official announcement either way it seems no one other than Orford himself maybe the Chairman know where he will be next season (which may or may not be Bradford.

But the point being made was that Phelps would be a waste of a quota spot for Bradford at the present time. Given that he's a full back and we currently have Kearney, Halley, Platt, Sykes and Ah Van all under contract and all able to play in that role

We don't have a quota spot left now anyway unless one of the existing players leaves.

if these too get signed Bulls will have a good solid pack again. The backs will get more space to play with.

Slightly back on topic, there is quite a large thread over on the Hull board suggesting Karl Pryce has agreed terms with them. So that may well be the end of that rumour.
