Paid for my membership today at the ticket office and they did stress that we may still have to pay some more on top of the £60 we paid. I still suspect there has been some control on the figures during the last few weeks but I don't think we've already hit 10k.

I think, with just a slight shift of the goalposts (RFL esque) we have passed through 10k easily for TOTAL pledges - under 8's and juniors included.

why would we start to take money without knowing that we were going to charge £60 - surely that is asking for trouble if come the 5th Oct they start calling asking for more money?

Well I don't think they're asking for anything. I just happened to be free this afternoon so decided to go and pay and at the same time ensure my pledge has been counted. If it ends up being more, then I just pay the the difference!

I've no inside info of the figures or the trends, but I think we can safely assume that if they've organized an event and fireworks they must be 100% confident of reaching 10K

As a wakey fan I think whether you reach 10k or not, the season ticket will still represent excellent value for money. Based on the current number of pledges you have, it would work out as 82 quid, still easily the best value for money in SL.

I read it that it was going to be removed this weekend and it has been removed, so perhaps I did read it properly !

The Pledge counter has been removed because the Powers that Be know full well that the 10k will not be hit.

Relax Bullys, come the big day, and without that pesky counter to cast a gloom over the proceedings, it is nailed on that the public announcement will be that it has been a successful campaign, and THE BULLS are back!
