Aagrah are part sponsors (or something like that!) so would be better for them to do it if anyone. Doubt they'd be best pleased if Mumtaz got in...rivalry springs to mind!
Try making your own curry ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif) lol

| Hot samosas on cold february nights at odsal would sell like err hot cakes!
It's a crying shame that the culinary delights of Bradford stop short of the Odsal gates. Somebody could make a fortune if they only took the plunge.
Horrible greasy and over priced burgers, manky cold chips and slimy onions obviously sell at Odsal to enough people for the current caterers to want to keep paying their bills. As long as that happens we're stuck with them.

Lots of people did take the plunge. The range and variety of food was superb at Odsal in the late nineties, and they started dripping away when crowds were still good.
I would kill for decent samosa though.

| You can't get a decent sow's matrix in Bradford - not for want of looking mind. Suckling pig and milk fed snails are thin on the ground as well.

| Back on topic, went for a late night curry at my favourite the Westgate on St Thomas's Road, chicken masala with tandoori rotis as usual, and absolutely outstanding A+ as usual. They seem to have the knack of replicating that Westgate taste, every time. Remains the best value curry house in Bradford IMHO.

| IMO the best curry house around these parts isn't even in Bradford. It's the Samarkand in Heckmondwyke. Otherwise known as Sammies.

Is that the one on the corner or the one above the taxi rank?
Had the best shami kebab in my life so far from Pakeezah on Leeds Road. Mate from work went there and got 10 for £4.50.

The Westgate is "next to" the one on the corner. You go in the same door as if you were going upstairs to Metro taxis, but instead turn left.

| Not being funny (am I ever?) but could anyone advise of a good curry house near to the Alhambra?
We are going to the panto on Friday and want to go for a curry before the show.
It will have to be near to the theatre as we won't get to Bradford until 5.30ish and the show starts at 7.15 so need to be at the theatre for about 7.
Thanks.

| The International will do fine, a bit posher with some truly excellent "special" dishes is the Rawal opposite the Kash in Wilton Street, and a bit posher still is Omar's which is on Little Horton Lane on the left near the end of Wilton Street. (It's got a back door off the Wilton Street car park)
