Agreed that Scurr hasn't looked that impressive so far this year - a mile off SL quality really.

From seeing the footage we got away with an undeserved win. The London player clearly grounds the ball in one movement and how the ref manages to come up with a penalty for us I don't know.

The referee seemed to indicate that it was a double movement and that's why he chalked the try off

It looks like a try to me. It's exactly why video refs ask to see things at full speed, because that's a bounce on the floor and a momentum over the line all in less than a second. I'm sure that would have been given by a video ref.

He's in front of the kicker and the pass for Bienek's try is a long way forward. Fair enough for me.

A tough call for me. The football lines don’t help. You can see why refs have such a tough job.

Either way these things seem to even out over the season so no doubt we will be raging at a perfectly good try of ours chaulked off soon enough.

Yeah looks a try for me. Having said that they were lucky not to have another yellow for the tackle on Scurr. Think if they hadn't have had a man already in the bin, they'd have seen yellow for that.

What about Mitch Clark coming back possibly? He was a fans favourite and we could do with another prop at the moment.

Played for Newcastle last night (as did MoM Hallas) so I doubt this is happening.

Newcastle have spent big money on their squad so unless they're now skint or players are unsettled being up there I can't see them letting any leave. Clark was decent for this level but he never seemed to realise his potential.

Dirty Walshaw isn't good enough. Welham would be alright. What's the extent of the injuries to the two oil tankers? If they're out medium to long term then another prop will be needed.

I'd take Addy back tbh. He gets through a lot of work and has a good skill set for a loose forward.
I'm just not sure he's what JK wants from a loose. I think he'd rather just use them as an additional prop.
