Dane just isn’t Super League quality.

Championship is the correct level for him but I agree he wouldn’t be the right signing for us unless he comes with a few hard working, chiselled forwards and a larger pitch.

He will look a superstar in League 1 but, unless his family is dead against it, surely he would go back to Oz

When Patton is fit and his heads in the game I don't think Chisholm's the better option.

For entertainment maybe, but that maybe ten mins a game only. Patton does off the cuff but seems to organise the team (when they are fresh) which is something Dane just doesn't seem to want to do with any consistency.

I think Chisolm is a Robbie Paul when we need a Henry Paul. Moments of genius and long periods of being missing. Robbie was better than that but you get my drift.

No disrespect to our nearest and dearest but if Dane was as good as some say he, wouldnt have found himself at Keighley.

This will be his 13th club move in 12 years. He'll have played in every division in the British RL now as well as the Toyota Cup, NSW Cup and NRL in Australia. Plus a short stint in Rugby Union.

He seems to recycle the same pattern - looks like a world-beater for the first few months at a new club before settling into anonymity, followed by a fall out with the coach.

Leigh now have no space for Jy Hitchcox who has been loaned to Rochdale for a couple of weeks.

Jy was originally handed the No2 shirt but was crocked early in the season. The resulting reshuffle (with Leigh at that point short on numbers) saw his centre, Brand given a wing berth outside Chamberlain and they've really clicked sharing 14 tries equally between them. Brand is an ever-present this season, Jy has only played 4 games.

The arrival of Inu to play outside MacDonald (18 tries between them) has seen Nisbet, the original No5's, star fall too. The last playing only 6 games and one of those completely out of position.

Barring a massive injury epidemic, it looks a long way back for Jy who looked a good signing when made.

Personally i think Jy was the best winger we have had since we were relegated from SL.

Would have to agree. Jy was a great finisher and one of the best wingers in the comp during 2019. Having him and Ethan Ryan scoring tries for fun was one of the highlights of the season. I seem to remember ER doing a backheel kick through for us to score away at Rochdale that season. Its good to see Ethan get his chance at KR.

Clare is fast (and acrobatic), think Jy has a little oomph on him though.

Quiet first half but in the second half took Rochdale by the scruff and run them ragged
