Given what tosh we have had for previous (recent) owners I'd actually be happy to see Caisley back in some capacity.

I think he has the ability to make sure the Bulls don't get 'fooked' over by other parties, would be an improvement on what we are currently used to.

Precisely. Mr Caisley's "expert" handling of the Leeds/Iestyn affair was the start of the decline into the whole sorry mess.

In his defence, he actually thought he would win that case, it was Hood that decided to conclude without a trial.

That issue aside (I know it was a big issue), he was at the helm over a pretty successful period. There is always a chance he has learnt from previous mistakes.

If he was part of a bigger party, whom thought they could make the club a success again, he's probably better qualified than most.

Might have been the start, but there have been many, many mistakes made after this event.

The present ownership (if they do own it; so far as we can tell they are on some sort of conditional semi-official trial period unless-someone-better-ciomes-along weirdo basis) are certainly not bound by the agreement into which OK was bounced for two years of half distribution. So - another "known unknown" to add: will one condition (whoever ends up owning the Bulls) be the same 2 year half money period? I mean, IF it was right that one price of admin was 2 years on half money, which seems to have been a ryule created for us, then surely, having gone into admin again, the new incarnation would logically have to agree to start a new 2 year half money period? I mean, i see no logic in them agreeing to "honour" the arrse end of the old club's 2 year half-pay deal, and then moving up to full pay. And how could the RFL justify what they did to OKB if they don't do the same for others who follow into admin? (at any club, of course).

But, the catch may be that the RFL would be (well, in my opinion) unlikely to find many more businessmen who would agree to such a draconian and manifestly unfair proviso. If it was me, (I wish!) there is not a cat in hell's chance that I would.

No way. Done that in the past ad nauseum with what I know for fact, and also what I either just held as opinion, or maybe knew more about but was not able to say more. Either way, not going over it all again. I'll just suggest that things were far less clear-cut and simplistic than you maybe think, from what you said.

I understand your reasons for not wanting to visit that 'dark' place again, but it's not really given me much reason to change my opinion.

Would I have rather had Caisley in charge instead of Omar? Well, yes.

If he's interested in coming into the fold, i'm sure it would be in partnership with someone else. I can't imagine he would want to spend his retirement fund on the Bulls, so there would have to be a group of individuals prepared to put their hands in their pockets.

Not coming on here to make comment about Sammut but this whole episode of putting the club in admin then being brought out of same and now being lined up for another sale is really interesting I cannot fathom it out I can speculate but I won't but you as fans deserve some transparency and clarity as to what is happening
