I'd assume it will be done in a businesslike manner and what is spent on cap (assuming we're still in Sl, remember the RFL won't accept pre-conditions) will depend on how much takings are for season passes and the like.

This is like a miniature Northern Rock, with SLE as the government. Unless it's a very short term (ie sold on in the close-season) measure I can't see how it'll work.

I wonder if this is a ploy (albeit with a preparedness to act on the promise) to force the hands of the various consortia.

Would expect Bulls to go through to the end of 2012 in SL and then have a soft landing into the Championship, playing at Odsal in 2013. Senior players discretely told to find other clubs.

Seriously, can you see a rival Chairman sanctioning Bulls to continue running a full cap squad (and a junior section filled with out-of-area kids), when they themselves struggle on??

This situation has created more questions than it has answered.

Assuming the deal is completed it would appear that the immediate threat has been lifted, but they have essentially put a "for sale" board up. Not sure I understand how this will work in practice as the club now appears to be in the position of being owned by its competitors?

be entertaining if the board who governs clubs suggests that with anti tampering deadline not upon us nobody can have agreed a deal with anyone else yet (who would argue?)

The more I think about it the more it seems that the only way all clubs would agree to such a deal, would be if the Bulls drop out of SL at the end of the year.

Pains me to say it but i can't see the Bulls competing against it's new 'owners' in 2013.
