...and, in more credible breaking news, Lord Lucan has just appeared at Odsal riding Shergar; Elvis has returned to announce he is financing a consortium to buy the club; after an accounting error was discovered at HM Treasury, it has now been confirmed that Britain's national debt was actually paid off years ago, so austerity is cancelled and everyone gets a £250k tax refund; and the Wakefield Supporters' Trust writes an open letter to the RFL saying SL need the Bulls.

The fact that there are now three bidders meeting the RFL today + the guys already there, this seems to have slid under the radar a bit. A few months ago 4 possible buyers would have been a big story but little seems to have been said. Maybe we are all becoming "shell shocked" and just getting on with daily life being a Bulls supporter. I just hope everything is settled early next week as that Wakey game is absolutely vital. A loss there and heads could drop badly. A win and any points reductions could be cut nicely. Big week ahead!

How the hell is anyone managing (or even bothering) to run the place when all they read is that there are strings of mysterious people seemingly queuing at Red Hall to be approved as potential new owners?

As the players were all TUPE'd to BB2014, but that would not be the owner of the Bulls any more if someone else wins the raffle, what the hell is/would be their employment position and status?

We have our first game this weekend yet we could be told anytime that X has now done a different deal with the administrator and now owns the club; except that the players and staff having been TUPE'd from OKB to BB2014 must be unaffected by that as whatever powers the administrator has, cancelling the effect of TUPE certainly ain't one of 'em.

Anyone got any more paracetamol? I've completely run out.

Never quite certain whether multiple owners means a wider skill set, more experience and a generally greater depth of talent running things or whether it just provides more chances of an explosive bust up. I could just go on recent experience, I guess..

problem with that scenario is that new buyers are talking to administrator who is dealing with OK bulls. Bulls2014 isnt his to sell to any new owners. Logical thing to do would be for Lamb or any other prospective new owner to buy a share in bulls 2014 and use extra funding to settle more of OK bulls debt and reduce any points deduction. That way you keep on board the people who've been running club for last few months and dont have to start from scratch learning the ropes again. Fair enough if anyone coming in wants control, then they buy 51% of shares of existing BOD.

You lot really do have to be admired for your sense of humour in extreme adversity.There is hope.Small but the main hope is getting to November not relegated where sky funding should annually be £1.75 million as opposed to £650k.Noone of the 4 others bidding are Marwans.But would certainly be better than what has gone on in managing the finances.
