I really hope the club steps up the push for pledges. Less in terms of silly things on the website (as it's a fairly safe bet that most people who visit the Bulls' site have already pledged) but actually out in the community.

They're going to be at the Saltaire festival, hope they get a decent response from that.

How much would it cost to hire the plane that has the banner at the back of it?

We could rent that out for the day and fly it around the city, giving the club maximum exposure and making sure pretty much everyon ein the city sees it.

We could fly it over Halifax, Keighley, Batley, Huddersfield etc.

why would that be? even if we dont reach target we'll still have cheapest season tickets in league by a long shot and probably be in top 3 or 4 in temrs of number of season ticket holders. Dont forget our current number of season ticket holders is at least a thousand or two hishger than the pledge total as junior tickets dont count as pledges.

Probably a big job to do, but are the club going to ring all the season ticket holders from last year who are still to pledge?

Giving some of them a nudge or making them aware that they need to pledge prior to the date (esepcially the older end who maybe are less "techy" with no access to a computer), might be the way forward to boost the figures.

Reliably assured the club are very much on the case for the next stage in revving things up a bit, as well as very much working on the half-back front. Don't think people should take lack of any signing announcements in that department yet to mean lack of activity - far from it.

You have stated that you will be in top 3/4 in the league for season ticket sales... On what basis? If the pledge fails you havn't a clue on how many people will buy a season a higher price....Or am I missing something? Not trolling just generally bemused by your comment.

Depends on how many pledged.

At the moment, it's £100.

If we get 7,000+, it will be £87. 8,000+ will be £75. 9,000+ will be £67. Then 10,000+ is obviously £60.

Alright so if it stands at the current Figure it will be £100 per membership, but what if X amount of people dont want to pay £100 for a membership.....they pledged on the basis it will be £60. People are without a doubt going to drop out if you dont make it and there is no way Bulls will know how many £100 season ticket they are going to sell. It all seems very bizzare and very risky for the Bulls.

undoubtedly there will be some dropouts, probably more the higher the price gets. thats why the final pricing wont be announced until early november once club has contacted pledges and found out number of dropouts. tbh as long as we get in £75 or less territory then I dont think we'll have a significant number of dropouts. if we get in £67 brackets then I cant see more than a handful dropping out. Thing to remember is that a lot of the pledges will be walk up supporters who only come to a handful of games each year. Our walkup price is not dropping next year. so even if we go to £75 tickets they only have to come to 5 games to save money.

Contact a pledger and say what? Example with cutting story short: 'Hi Pledger the price has gone up £75 are you still in'? If more than 5-10% say no im out, Bulls will have to contact them again 'Hi pledger price has gone upto £80 due to more people dropping out, are you still in' ..... ONe big merry-go-round. You might sort it out by the year 2014.

Which ever way you look at it, if you guys dont get the 10K its going to be risk when they do put them up for sale. Your never going to know how many people will purchase one.

at the end of the day I dont think they'll actually bother cintacting people before setting the final price. They will look at number of pledges, assume a certain % will drop out and set the price accordingly. However much you want to nitpick the detail the season tickets are going to be cheaper than last year by a substantial margin.

It's possible but it needs a bit of a push.

The problem is that if people have pledges for a season ticket because at £60 it's fantastic value and they know they'll go to enough games to make it pay, if it suddenly goes up to £100 it's starting to look a bit more expensive... yes, it's cheap for a season ticket but all of a sudden people are having for find another £40... This is compounded if you're buying more than one ticket or you're like several posters on this forum who have pledged for a 'spare' ticket and are having to find an extra £80. Yes, it's not a fortune in the grand scheme of things but it's also almost twice what you originally signed up for.

I've already said if it ends up at £100 a season pass I won't be able to buy all my pledges in one go.

I wonder when the club plan to release the home shirt? I can't help but wonder if they should be selling them when people come to buy their membership. I'm sure they would sell one to most existing holders who will already be saving £100 that they would usually be shelling out at that time of year.

Both home and away shirts should be out for Christmas I believe, don't know anything beyond that.
