Feka signed for limoux but may have a SL get out clause. If we were looking at Salford props think we'd be better served by someone like sidlow. Decent grafter even if nothing special.

Why are we suddenly wanting to offload Platt - its like we put up with him when he was useless, and now he's actually developed in to a decent player we are getting rid....

Unless its to do with reducing the wage bill. Didn't he get a contract extension around the same time as Scruton and Sykes when the previous regime appeared to be handing out 'silly money' contracts?

Problem with platt is he got a new deal based on him being a starting 13 player. He's more of a backup option these days but his wage doesn't reflect that. Maybe a case of using his wage to fill a starting position we're short in and a swap deal helps Salford too if rumours of moon wanting out are true. We've got reasonable depth at centre and fullback with Kearney, backed up by kear,sammut and naughton for FB and Lulia and Purtell backed up by Blythe,walker and other young lad they've just put into first team plus whitehead at a pinch for centres.

Hasnt Platt only got this coming year left on his contract?

Would be interesting to see if Salford are prepared to pay him a comparable salary as unless it is for say 3 yrs min it wouldnt appear to be in his best interests. Unless he seeks less pay this year for security of another 2 thereafter

Apparantly in league weekly it states lulia may be coming to us (Leeds). I know mr Parker usually makes up his story's so not getting too excited but he looked a decent player for u last year

Great for us last year. Would be very sorry to see him go. Hopefully he'll at least see out his contract with us. Would like to get him signed up for longer.

Lets hope not, one of our most consistent performers last year. We need to build a reasonable side for season ticket sales to continue selling. Unless it is some sort of player swap deal that would benefit us in other areas.

I can only assume there is a buy-out clause in Lulia's contract, otherwise FC must have lost the plot if he's willing to let him go.
It would be seriously disheartening if he ended up leaving. And to Leeds of all places would just make it even worse.

I think Leeds will sign Moon, Salford will replace him with Platt, and we will use the cap space for a forward and winger.

Someone at the club told me it's a swap involving Lulia & young Richie Spedding from Leeds. I've heard a lot about this kid.

They've already had a go signing Moon and couldn't agree personal terms. If there's any truth to the rumour then Leeds have obviously moved on to trying to poach Lulia instead.

There was a rumour about Richard Moore a few days ago. Perhaps Lulia's off to Leeds and Moore's coming the other way? Hope not. Moore would strengthen the team but Lulia is one of our best players. Such a deal would seem lop sided to say the least.

Maybe Hetherington advised us that this would be a great deal for us in their recent visit! I'd argue we need a strong centre more than a very average Prop right now, if if we're light in the pack.

Hopefully just silly season talk, especially considering the source is Parker. Selling one of our best players isn't going to encourage people to buy season tickets and would kill off the generally positive vibes coming out of odsal since OK took over.

Speaking as someone whose always said individual ins and outs are less important than the shape of the squad as a whole, I think I'd find it hard to put a positive spin on any move involving Lulia moving away..
