Doncaster had their slip up this weekend losing to Hunslet at home. Just us and York on 18 points now and then a 4 point gap.

York beat Hemel 90-0 putting them back on top however we play Hemel this weekend with only 30 ish points to make up. Tricky assignment for York; away at Whitehaven. Whitehaven would potentially be joint third as they are a game behind everyone else.

First place were originally supposed to be involved in the playoffs. But that nearly meant Toulouse missed out on the playoffs the year before when they slipped up in the first playoff game. I was surprised by how good Newcastle looked on Friday night. They ought to be higher up the table if they can play like that.
