No they wouldn't nor would they base a decision like this on the size of a clubs support? Even us Fax fans respect you lot sticking with it through thin and thin we can sympathise as we had lots of cr*p for many years culminating in relegation with one win all season in 2003 and nearly getting relegated again in 2004 which would have probably put us into oblivion at a time you were still at your pomp!
BUT no sports club should be favoured purely because of their fan base come on if so in football clubs like Leeds Utd, Sunderland and Aston Villa would be put into the Premier League and Bournemouth, Burnley and Swansea would be put in the Championship when they are all where they are because of what happens on the pitch, which is where it should be decided end of story.
I am sick of hearing that you should be in SL and that Championship clubs rely on your support as without you we would all die - yes I admit clubs like us do benefit from having Bradford Bulls coming to town and it does boost our finances but so did Leigh the last few years they were in our league, Cas did back in time too life goes on!
I do agree though that it will be the clubs who make the decision as the game is run by the SL clubs with the rest being lap dogs the RFL are pretty powerless really and yes many Championship club Chairman might go for the money and vote to keep you up by expanding the Championship.
But its not sport though is it???

We would be getting relegated because of a 12 point deduction before we started.
When we should have been in c1 anyway.
This year has been a total waste of time and very damaging to a new club.
Only because the initial situation was mishandled by the RFL.

I think we should not be relegated for one reason only. It would hopefully cause such an uproar that the people at Red Hall would be thrown out. Throughout this whole sorry affair at Bradford we have obtained benefits and also put at unfair disadvantage, none of which has been the result of anything by us poor schmuks that pay the price.

Actually, I disagree with that.

The deduction is, in many ways a 'mental thing', we know that from so many interviews with players, and to suggest that our playing record would have been exactly the same, had we had our points on the board, is quite wrong, imo. We could have saved the drop, relatively easily, by keeping either the players or the points, losing both though was too much.

It does, but think we'll run out of time. Won't say "too little too late" as that is a bit unfair as the owners did buy Chisholm & Smith who both got long term injuries. If both has have been fit i think we would have a few more points on the board.

I've heard at least 3 names mentioned. All of which would improve our current side. But I feel it's too late. Had these players come in earlier, we might have had a chance. But an 11 point deficit is too much to make up when you consider the teams we're trying to catch will have to play each other again and we have the best team in the competition this weekend.




You could equally argue that had they not had the -12, the siege mentality would have never happened, they'd have thought it was easy to avoid relegation, got complacent, and picked up even less points. If my aunt had balls, and all that. It's impossible to know really, so I prefer to base it on the only facts that are available, and that's how those same players performed when it happened with the deduction.

I got my hopes up last time we signed Cameron Smith, only to find out I'd been hoodwinked.

I wouldn't want to say Willie Tonga and then find out there's another Willie Tonga who is currently in the Wakefield U16s side.

In reality, the names I was told didn't come from a particularly reliable source, so I wouldn't want to get people's hopes up with them. Be quite nice if true, but I gave up wishing for good things months ago.

I've heard a certain mr Clare might be coming back from Leigh to gin match fitness following his bad injury in Feb (thought it was season ending) so would defo help at full back or wing
