I think Gaskell can be compared to Ryan Brierley as their style is more similar , having said this I still prefer Ryan to Lee Gaskell, I think Ryan has more speed , and this season his ball distribution has improved massively just look at our televised Cup games to see this,I AM a fan of Gaskell though , my point being who in the Bulls Squad would get into the current Leigh team?And who would they displace?I would like to know Bradford fans views on this.

Its hard to say as most will only have seen the Bradford v Leigh game so cant comment, its about what works well in the team I feel, Leigh have been playing together for a while now and seem to complement each others style.

Not many on both sides will say your player is better than mine and vice versa, but between Bulls and Leigh (with the players available) you could make one hell of a good team out of those available.

Only a fool would say that we wouldn't include Brierley in our team....he would make a massive difference alongside Gaskell. As McNally misses less games than Mullaney I would probably take him unless Mullaney can improve his ability to string a few appearances together. A fit Mullaney any day.
Gaskell doesn't score points whilst sat in the stands....even he is not that good.

Some very ordinary players have appeared in Grand Finals and Cup Finals ,yet some great have never had any honours , John Woods being one ,having graced the Leigh,Warrington,and Bradford teams never playing at Wembley yet some have been to Wembley many times.

I would have Gaskell in my team ahead of Brierley all the time. Brierley is a pretty decent player playing in a very good team where as Gaskell is an excellent player playing in a pretty average team.

have a word with yourself ,look at his speed , ball handling skills try scoring, he can kick goals ,given the choice between the 2 I would have Brierley in the Fax team anytime, unfortunately it won't happen.

An interesting debate here ,no doubt Gaskell is a very good player but add injury prone to his other undoubted talents , for me Ryan B will put on a show to convince you of his on Sunday.

He's not injury prone, he had his jaw broken by being smashed in the face off the ball with an elbow.

I agree an injury like this cannot be helped , but he did have a lot of minor injuries when he was at Saints.Again I'm not doubting his playing talents though.
