Why would he want to play for that shower? I suppose he could enjoy winning a few games up to July, as every season.

Wasn't it reported that it was only the out of contract players that are eligible to discuss their futures with other clubs?

Don't get me wrong I'm well aware that behind closed doors every player will have a plan B, however from what's been reported it would seem that if Bradford remain in SL John will stay at Bradford for the immediate future. And then it will be up to the new owners to agree to any transfer fees offered for contracted players.

I have a mate playing @ Huddersfield, who said them and Warrington were battling it out for his signature, when Hull came in last minute and he signed for them.

Maybe suggests that what people are talking about are the Plan B's for these players.

Well I expect most players will have signed agreements to sign with others if they're made free agents, and that would include Gale, Koppy and Bateman amongst others.

However if we continue in SL those players still under contract will remain with us I reckon, unless a new buyer decides he wants to sell.

The other one is Whitehead. He agreed a 5yr deal back in March which the RFL wouldn't ratify due to "special measures". Some re-negotiation to be done there I think.

Renegotiation maybe but the five yr deal was an extension to his existing one. So even if the 5yr deal isn't cast in stone he should be covered for next yr under his original deal.
I don't doubt players have deals lined up in event we aren't in SL next year, but there backup plans and their original bulls deals will take precedence if we stay in SL.

I hope we get Hargreaves, he would be a quality signing. I hope we keep Sykes as well.

Probably a fair bit of cash tied up in those players if rumours are to be believed. I'd think we'd be looking to try and keep Manuokafoa, Donaldson, Addy, McAvoy and Crookes. If rumours are to be believed, Crookes is already gone though. I'd like to see the likes of Elima, Hargreaves and Crookes at the club but I sense that's pretty unlikely.

Maybe the recent form of Walker might see him get a new deal as well as long as his demands are reasonable. Might be the old steady head we need in what might be a tough year for recruitment.

I expect Sykes will join Wakefield if the clubs can reach an agreement.

The fact that you haven't had to offload any this irks a lot more I'm sure.
I'm also fairly certain that the creditors owed money are also irked as to why when you have assets to sell they have not been sold.
