But they don't do they? While that continues to be the case (as has been for nigh on 3 years) we'll stay well outside the 8.

No disrespect
In all fairness the Leeds side that you played just over a week ago was still shaky from a pasting from Shuddersfield

| You were mullered by a better team and a far bigger club.
Wire are the best side in the competition with the best stadium and best support.
And,having watched your truelt inept 'performance' today, if i was a Bradford fan,i'd be turning cartwheels that the RFL have long since done away with relegation

| Sooooooo... what to make about today?
Much of what I'd say has already been said. Disorganised and clueless in attack, spineless and confused in defence. Schoolboy errors like kicking out on the full, wrong people kicking on the last tackle, basic handling errors.
The wider question is where to go from here? By which i mean next week and over the next month. Well, we've got Halifax next week, then Hull KR and Salford - so we could hardly have a better run of fixtures to try and fix things up a bit.
I think we've got to look at giving Briggs and maybe Southernwood a run in the cup game. Or maybe try Briggs at scrum half and give Herbert a run at 6. There's no way that Herbert looks a natural scrum half to me, so its time to shake things up.Even L'Estrange at scrum half is worth considering.
The trouble with L'Estrange at Scrum Half is that Diskin, to my mind, is poor. I know he gets the odd penalty by scooting into the back of a retreating defender - but does he need to do that tactic EVERY single play? The refs are wise to it, and he's doing nothing else with ball in hand. He needs to get his finger out IMO
I like Royston, he's a trier. But he looks small and too weak in defence to be our Number 1, plus he was way out of position several times today. But who else? Halley has to be an option, at least until we get Kearney back.
Donaldson is obviously going to come into it, with Elima injured. And, to be fair, Sibbit was as good as anyone on our team today (and I didn't expect to ever be saying that!).
The trouble is that, with injuries to Kearney, Langley, Scruton and now Elima, we are really, really short on quality and experience.

Ignore this Muppett. He isn't a Wire fan. He just trolls all the opposition Boards (and gets banned from most of them).

Allow me to apologise for this moron. Having been on the end of many a pasting by the Bulls I sympathise with your current plight. Speaking purely factually, Wire do not have the best support and we are not a 'far bigger club' than Bulls. It is an honour to be up there now with the big boys, including Bradford. I welcome new supporters as that's the only way to expand, but it does mean acquiring imbecliles like WireWonder along the way.

We need a big, comprehensive win against Halifax to try and get a bit of confidence back. But I doubt, at the moment, we are capable of that.
It is depressing.

Now you sir are a true fan of RL and I you've earned my respect
On another note.... I expected this today, Warrington were not going to lose after that Hull game. Okay fair enough I wasn't there so I cannot comment on player performances or the pride they had.

| Supported for 28 years and today was the absolute bottom of the pile. Warrington were average, at best, but they scored a good 36+ points off our horrible attacking options. Was not impressed by the cheering when Sykes went off injured......he is utter crap, but he had one of his better games today, and don't like to see fans cheering when one of their own goes off. We did'nt expect to win today, but to hand it to them on a plate is especially galling. I remember beating Warrington 82-16 at their place a few years ago.....sigh!!!!

As a Warrington fan who wasn't there today, that first sentence is an absolute delight to read.....I don't want to sound arrogant, but to be battering teams while playing average can only be a good thing with regards to our future trophy chances.
As for yourselves, as an outsider, your demise has been somewhat bewildering to witness over the last few years.....Certainly the days of those 82-16 humiliations (2001?) seem an eternity away now on both sides of the coin, for both us and you.
Whilst you would imagine at some point your fortunes will change for the better, it seems obvious that you need a complete overhaul from top to bottom for that to happen.....The days of the ruthless, efficient Bulls machine seem to have been replaced with an incompetent set-up with little direction....For the good of the game in your area, I hope things get better soon.

| Quote ="AaronBull" and Herbert could play 13, as has been mooted. He certainly does the defensive work to compliment the role. '"
That's because Wire ran at him consistently in the first 15 mins as they'd picked him out as a weak link. He's not a scrum half and I would bet he's not a lock forward either. He was a short term bet that hasn't worked out and is unlikely to, if what Bullseye says about the losing culture at the club is right. I can't blame Sykes too much, he's a utility back and an average centre who when we had a fit squad didn't make the first team. I imagine he puts his hand up and given Potter seems to have no confidence in Southernwood or Briggs i can't blame him too much for being willing and following the coach, cheering his injury was despicable. I imagine those who did that have never played themselves.

Yes it was 2001. 12-84 with the Bulls scoring 14 tries and 14 goals.

Varying reports as to whether it was 6,7 or 8. I think a couple of times the try was scored 1 or 2 plays later. But still a very high number. And very frustrating that we kept repeating the same mistakes.
I'd be fascinated to see the detailed stats for the game. I cant believe a team has ever scored 50+ points whilst having so few sets inside the opposition 20m line.

I didn't recall it but if they did it certainly wasnt where I was stood. Apart from the kicks Sykes didn't too badly. He's a centre having to play 6 and can't shoulder all the blame for what was a very poor display yesterday.
Whatever has happened with Potter and Briggs needs to be put to bed now and let the lad have some game time, seriously we ant be any worse!

I'll say we need to go Southernwood / Briggs next week and maybe Herbert at 13! We may as well experiment!
