If someone on here decides to go, can you please tell them that the annual return is still overdue? It is now more than 2 months late. If they still plan on trading through OK Bulls Ltd, as RHP has suggested in the t&a today, then they need to get their sh*t together and get it filed.

Strange, with a proper financial specialist on the board you'd expect, or at least [iI[/i expected, that sort of thing to be sorted. That said, I've no idea what sort of latitude is allowed with these things, or indeed what is 'normal' business practice etc.

The earliest date an Annual Return can only be made up to is, in this case, the anniversary of the date of incorporation (30/8/2012) so that would be 30/8/2013. It should be filed within 28 days of this date(27/9/2013)
After this date the Registrar will ask the company if it is still trading. and ask for a reason for the delay.
There are no financial penalties for non-filing. So it is not such a big deal if the company is in contact with the Registrar over continuity of trading. In my experience up to 3 months latitude can be given.

The pertinent question is - Why has it not been filed? it is certainly not an oversight.
Other than stuff already filed at CoHo it only contains the details of Shareholders and share movement.

Whatever the reason I expect it will be done before the Forum.

reference the annual return! From information I understand that a newly incorporated company has the leeway to provide the first annual return 21 months after incorporation. From that date the return would be due annually.

So let's those that know get on with it, I suspect that a question will be brought up at the forum though!

It is perhaps understandable that the annual accounts would take some time and effort - but an annual return? If just confirms the companies registered address, directors details and ownership of the companies share. Should be a 10 minute job and can be done online .While late filing may not be a big issue tends to attractive negative points on credit scores as sign of poor administration

Out of interest - how good are the 'authorities' on updating their websites? It may well a have been done long ago but the intern who has knowledge of all things interwebby hasn't yet caught up?

For my sins I do the annual returns and accounts for a dozen companies and Companies House are pretty efficient and documents usually appear on the register within a few days of submission. So don't think it is a "lost in post" or "lost in system" issue.

I'm really not sure about this season ticket holders only lark. Are those of us who cannot commit to being season ticket holders really so irrelevant as to be refused entry? seems peculiar to me.

It's a bit of a cheap ploy to get people to stump up for a season ticket and to attempt to confer some additional status to being a season ticket holder ie you get to ask questions directly to the BOD and have them answer you in person.

Spot on way to alienate half your fan base by making them second class fans.

The Club are giving an opportunity to the Fans who have paid up front for ST's, they have at least shown a commitment to the Club.
Those who choose not to buy an ST for whatever reason are not being accorded a seat at this Forum for that basic reason.
Whether you like it or not its the Clubs perogative as it is yours not to buy an ST and choose to decide if and when you go to games.
The Club hasn't stated or indicated that having an ST will be the norm for other Forums, and would it be a regressive step if that were the case!
There is also the chance that this particular Forum giving the recent issues, could be oversubscribed if not limited to ST holders

Why should people who have not bought season tickets be fed up that those who have are getting some privileges? Next, they will be moaning that is not fair that season ticket holders get to go into matches, when non-season tickets holders don't. It's an outrage.

I genuinely have no problems with a season ticket having all sort of perks attached. That's probably as it should be. But I'm adamant that entry to a club forum can't be one of them. It's daft unless you simultaneously assure fans of an open forum in due course.

Aye, god knows why a club would consider season ticket holders their most important/loyal fans to keep happy. That's just crazy.

ST sales provide a vital cash injection before the start of the season, and I guess if the going gets tough financially the ST holders are the ones most likely to "pledge". So you can understand additional privileges being attached. However having been to a number of these forums they are not exactly packed out so not sure why you would exclude ( if current ST sales numbers are to be believed) the majority of our fans?

Yep that's it in a nutshell. Clearly, non season ticket holders must meekly accept being sneered at by the increasingly self-righteous people that hang out on our boards, but there are a myriad of ways of punishing them rather than deny them entry to a fans forum.

Discounted merchandise, cheaper beer, prize draws. But fans forums? Nah.
