| He lives in a nicer area than Ryan Whitcut but I don't think they are otherwise that different. His business background is SPORTS EVENTS marketing, he has worked with Wasps in a peripheral capacity and has run corporate events across a number of codes......I very much doubt he is a better option to the one you have now.

Interesting interview with the potential owner on BCB
Seems to say the right things, but I got the impression that he's not that interested in working with the current tenants @ Odsal (RHP excluded)'"
Really intrigued with this, in general buyers of RL clubs have either a connection to the club or the town/city concerned. As the interviewer said most RL clubs are unprofitable, so no compelling reason there, and of course we have no assets to speak off which could be stripped and sold for a profit. In other sports, prospective 'buyers' emerge and disappear with what seems like a process of self promotion of the individual involved. In RL's case, possibly only 2 clubs would fit that profile. So I sit back and ask why? I don't get it but would like to hear more! On the basis rich people don't stay rich by throwing their money away, he seems to have seen something that others haven't!!!!! Perhaps it's the certainty of the Sky money going forward. Anyone with any other ideas?

No he doesn't, expensive is not the same as nice. The area where Ryan Whitcut lives was found by independent research to offer the best quality of life of anywhere in England. That research focussed on family life and was based on a number of factors including quality of schools, price and quality of housing availability of local services etc.
There are many areas of Yorkshire and indeed across the Pennines that far exceed anywhere in the South East where small houses with tiny gardens cost ridiculous sums and the proximity of so much culture is misleading as it is not readily accessible due to the difficulty of travelling relatively short distances.

LOL Southern Softies wouldn't know what a decent golf course is, Potters Bar just has to be a Parkland course, no gorse, no proper rough and the lip of every bunker below your knees rather than above your shoulders. I'd bet you think Wentworth or Sunningdale have more tradition than Montrose Medal

I'm not sure he lives in that house on Laund Road. When I waited outside I never saw him.
Still interesting house though it's got a car on top of it and rover parked outside with a toilet seat hanging off the back and garden furniture lashed to the roof.

| It does speak volumes about where London are as a club when a London based businessman who wants to get into RL bypasses them completely and goes up north to find a club.

Sorry I dropped the £ sign for the 3.It should have read £1.2 million. But that was at the end of September. What is it now.The £5.4 million Bradford Council "gave"the Bulls in 2002 is well documented in press archive on the Telegragh Argus website.I only repeat what I read in these ridiculous numbers game.

I was thinking along similar lines. Moore, Calvert and Watt have said the same things as Lamb and seem to be similarly well off financially. None of them are prospective Davy/Koukash/Moran types. On the plus side he’s already passed his fit and proper person’s test according to today’s T&A so that means he’s better than Whitcu*t. He also writes a better press release than the current directors.
Whatever, I hope this is resolved soon as I’m fast losing interested and like Keith Boaza will just be going to the games until this charade is over.

This is the real problem/challenge for whoever ends up owning the club for the remainder of the season, the goodwill and patience of fans has been all but exhausted. So even the die hard fans are just utterly fed up with the circus, everyday its just more uncertainty and potential bad news, so what would entice the casual fan/potential fan to turn up? With a few early loses I can see attendances falling off a cliff, worseing the financial situation. I suspect season ticket sales will be very low anyway comparatively speaking because of another car crash of an off season.
We really need some stabilty, some good news and good performances on the pitch, especially as we'll be relying on pay on the day punters more this year. I live more in hope than expectation.

How did you pass the psychological screening test to become a moderator? Did you get someone else to do it for you?

I killed 'AF'. Simple as that. Moderating is much like the Roman Empire in that respect.

| So to recap.
Ownership of the club changed from Hood [iet al[/i and the various shareholders, to the administrator Guilfoyle.
Then it changed to OK Bulls Ltd being in fact OK
Then it sort of changed to MM & RW who agreed to buy OK's shares
Except it maybe didn't change (or did it) as the purchase price was not paid
So it either never changed or else changed back to OKB if the contract was repudiated
Although to add intrigue, effective ownership could be said to have changed to a debenture holder who had a charge over all assets, which he could enforce at a moment's notice. So may as well have been the owner.
Although said debenture holder seemingly thought he'd bought the lot but embarrassingly it turned out to be just 1 share of 100. Although the sale of that share doesn't seem to have been registered anyway.
Then ownership changed from whoever the feck may or may not have been the owner to an administrator appointed seemingly by said debenture holder.
Then ownership seemingly changed by M & Co. buying the assets i.e. the rugby club from the administrator.
Or did they?
As we now understand that another suitor is poised in the wings and so maybe ownership hasn't really changed at all and we are still in administration. or are we?
Apologies to any owners who I missed out.

Sorry it's been a while since anyone chipped in with this one so for balance:
Hello I'm a fan of A.N. Other club unrelated to this and without a massive chip on my shoulder like a Fax, Wakefield, Giants (any other smaller less significant club in West Yorkshire) fan. I was wondering why don't the supporters trust put together a fund to take ownership of the club? It worked at Rochdale!
