I would be very surprised if supporters who were prepared to put their hands in their pockets and pay for a season ticket last year aren't prepared to spend £60 this year. I suspect there are a lot who will just leave it to the last minute.

But 10 days ago we had over 4,000 pledges.

Well the rallying call on the website says we're over the 6k mark. I'd be more confident of 10k if we were over 7k.

I do hope the club do more than just a little post on the website if there's season ticket holders who've not pledged yet. A mail shot would be the best bet for me.

They'll have the addresses of the people who have yet to pledge so some stealth bombarding of their letter boxes should do it.

Why Can't the Club ask the T & A to do a Pledge Update along with their Bulls news online and in print! That will certainly improve the coverage, and are BCB The Pulse and Real Radio being asked also??
It does need the Local Media to Help as its to their benefit as well as the Club!

I'm a current season ticket holder who has yet to pledge.
I fully intend to, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I think I'll hold off from doing so now as an 'experiment' so see what - if any - correspondance I receive from the bulls between now and the pledge deadline.

So far all I have received is the original mailshot that they sent out to everybody...

me and my mates are typical stay away fans, follow the games on sky and on here , papers etc

10 of us went to a lot of home games 99/05, inc challenge cups etc,

then kids, wifes, beer got in the way...this combined with the Macca era was the nail in the coffin

I can get free tickets thru work and even that wasn't enough to convince the lads....

Then the £60 offer came along, happy days cant wait, potters a great coach gunna make some cracking signings, and get rid of the dead wood

Worrancy re signing and the fact were picking up dregs from salford/ wakefield and dont know whats happening with orford isnt going to get the stay aways back.

Might work in our favour, let the pledges biuld up and then update it later on in the week showing that we are just 3,000 short.

rate weve been going they wont be updating till friday then. think going that long without a update would be counter-productive

its o.k. pledges can only be counted once they have been confirmed with person pledging.so there could be a backlog.unless you pledge in person that is.

Well, if no more pledges are received, that would make the season ticket £100 (since it's passed the 6,000 mark).

Still a bargain IMO. But I reckon we can clear 7500 in the time remaining.

Long time to go yet and I dare say a few more signings will be announced before deadline day - at the end of the day we're still over 3/5ths of the way to the target! One of two more decent signings plus Orford either returning or being replaced by (at the very least) a competent replacement and I think we'll get there.

I think the players brought in so far add depth to a squad that, we should remember, was good enough to be in 4th place halfway through the year. I know we can be negative about the second part of the year, and with good cause, but there is a core of players in the team who have the potential to have us challenging next season.
