We're getting close to having to pay an extra 2.5% VAT if we leave it until January to pay - (OK we might get away with it if the club "invoice" us in Dec) but if they invoice us in January we'll be subject to the additional 2.5%. OK - It's not a lot of money but it all goes to the club pot if we can sort it earlier.

Do we have enough to cover the Burgess boys or AN Other young squad member? I know there's been a lot of chat and correspondence with the club about us sponsoring the boys, but are we officially lined up and not going to be gazumped?

I see that Sunday's bash is in part a sponsor recruitment exercise.

We have a provisional agreement on the Burgii for £700 + VAT, with the remainder of the money funding our match in hospitality.

Once the squad list is published, I'll take the cheques up to the club and sign it off!
