I assume referring to the rumours at the time that he wasn't happy about being moved out to the wing and losing his place as fullback, where he wanted to play.

When Caisley wanted to ship him and Langley out to Wakey in exchange for Ellis.
Reardon seemingly took his bat home, Langley took it on the chin and knuckled down.
Look where they each are now?

| I would be a little unhappy in that situation
Also in terms of his current situation v Langley's i would be prepared to say a lot of that is down to his injuries. Before his achillees snapped he was a good outside back IMO.

As far as i am aware it was more because of the club going back on certain financial incentive payments that had been promised on fullfillment of certain goals.

| Doubt anyone other than the parties involved will know more than part of the story? I got what I said from sources within the club at the time, but I also gathered that the club could not make Reardon a better offer at the time because of signing Harris, so make of that what you will? I seem to recall a lot of general comment from Bulls fans at the time about the differing responses to Ellisgate? Surely if such incentive payments were real and contractual then they were also enforceable though?

| Dowes to Bulls is another whisper I've heard today. Talks are apparently taking place, but nothing is final yet. Very reliable source. I'd be happy with that one.
Another that is off topic is Lee Radford to Hull K.R.

| I'd be suited with LMS, a lot of these rumoured players are props. I know we're short there, but it makes me wonder if there is a future for the likes of Sculthorpe, Crossley and Koppy. I have never been a fan of Koppy, but I think he deserves another year. If he keeps progressing at the rate he has at the back end of the season I can see him going well.

| Dowes is averageness personified. LMS is a great prospect & wish he was staying at London, I do worry about their future again. I would have thought LMS to Leeds would be more obvious now, but there must be something positive brewing with Potter if the Bradford rumour is true.

| I'd take LMS over Dowes as would anyone I think.
Not seen us linked to any stand offs or scrum halfs unfortunately.

There's interest from SL clubs for Thackeray and Briggs in NL. I've not heard the Bulls being mentioned as one of these interested clubs but it wouldn't suprise me.

He seemed a shoo-in for Saints when Potter was still boss. Maybe it was the man rather than the club that he wanted to sign for?

Is he the one that played in Super League for Cas? If so, a classic case of too good for Co-Op league, not good enough for Super League.

I always get mixed up between Ashley and Anthony. One's a winger, one's a half, but I can never remember which is which!!
'"
Anthony is the half.. Like you say.. too good for that level, not good enough for Super league. His main attacking move is his show and go, and i just can't see him getting the space to use it in Super league.
