Big advert in the T&A tonight. I wish they would market it as a season ticket and not membership. It's obvious to the fans who have a season ticket but not always to all fans. I've being asked a few times what membership actually means.

I'm leafletting my cluster, thats about 2000 kids, so hoping for a few hits at least.

It would be good for the club to give us an indication of the backlog of pledges that they have to go through. It's been 2 or 3 weeks since I pledged (or since it was announced) and I still haven't heard a thing back.

if you pledged online on first night then you probably wont hear anything as there were problems with the system and the automated email responses didnt go out.

Aren't they contacting people to confirm pledges etc?

think thats only for sms pledges or ones where details are incomplete.

To be fair, if people can't understand what it means, they're probably not capable of counting out £60 in money anyway. They'd probably try to pay with monopoly money or bottle tops.

less than a 1000 this week and thats after the marketing push at bingley live as well. Can't help but feel the orford situation seriously isnt helping. Think if we have any halves lined up then we need to get the announcement out next week to settle peopes nerves and get the pledges coming in again. As it stands cant see us getting much past 8k, which whilst it means a decent reduction on season ticket prices for everyone would be a bit of a PR disaster for the club.

Stop panicking. We will get there in the end, guaranteed!

If the people in the office work like me they'll have a massive pile of paper pledges building up on their desks that they'll not get around to looking at until the last minute which means that the backlog is probably a couple of thousand.

I would expect a bit of a surge in the last week or two with people leaving it last minute. I know a couple of people who keep saying "I'll do it later, there is loads of time yet".
