It will be interesting to see if anything happens with Walker. Hood apparently didn't know why we were being linked with him but confirmed an interest in Kearney. Unless of course the Kearney deal was pretty much done and dusted whereas Walker was undecided. We're now a Prop/Second Row short (depending on where we intend playing Hall) it will be interesting also to see who we have in mind for that vacancy. Certainly a lack of good quality Prop available.. especially Fed Trained. |

which makes our decision to release matt james seem questionable, given it was pretty certain at the time that sam was going. unless we already have someone lined up. |

Whitehead and Donaldson to swap with Worrincy for mine.
We've been a much better team when we've used 4 props, and Crossley is the only one we have in the squad -atm- who looks even slightly capable of stepping up. I still don't think he'll cut it though. |

I think most OOC half-backs will probably have been discussed on here at some point, especially British ones... each at varying points on the 'argh no' to 'would love to see' scale. Unfortunately with the British ones in particular they have tended to get a response nearer to the former.
Maybe you consider it irrelevant news, I guess it mostly speaks of the current squad speculation that I thought ruling someone out from next years squad was news. |
