Because if it did, where would be the incentive for the club to hold home friendlies? They would lose money every time they did (as they would still have staff and other costs to pay), so would just have every friendly away instead so that they didn't lose the cash.

You won your lower league (albeit via the playoffs), Bradford didn't win their higher league.

F.C. Halifax Town won their lower league. Manchester United didn't win their higher league.


The point being made is it's impossible to compare the two when they are entirely different levels of the game. The only true test would have been if they were either in the same league or if they'd played in the Cup. Which they didn't.

royston only started light training a week or so back after surgery so doubt he'll feature. don't think we can even use herbert in friendlies unless orford is resolved which I cant see being sorted before sunday. You making things up again michael?
