Agree that anyone who is anyone or no-one knows what anyone else knows about what some people know, and even those are not sure about what others know and they are not telling.

Seriously though given how skint aussie teams are thanks to the gambling laws killing off the leagues clubs we must be in a position to offer a cash sttlement and with the space left in the salary cap we could probably offer him a four year contract on 250K a year. overheard a bit of a conversation between a 1st team squad member and someone else in local last night. Kearney to be announced this week and we;ve signed him as a 6.
Also he said we have 3 ozzies to announce with kearney being the first. only way we could do that is if we've managed to get nero classed as fed trained a year early and 1 off the new guys is taking neros non-fed trained spot.

I think Kearney and Walker is just a matter of timing for the announcement, not sure about this 3rd one.

It will be interesting to see if anything happens with Walker. Hood apparently didn't know why we were being linked with him but confirmed an interest in Kearney. Unless of course the Kearney deal was pretty much done and dusted whereas Walker was undecided. We're now a Prop/Second Row short (depending on where we intend playing Hall) it will be interesting also to see who we have in mind for that vacancy. Certainly a lack of good quality Prop available.. especially Fed Trained.

crossley and not donaldson??? I think hall will be on bench and worrincy will start then hall can play either prop or s/row.

We've been a much better team when we've used 4 props, and Crossley is the only one we have in the squad -atm- who looks even slightly capable of stepping up. I still don't think he'll cut it though.

Or alternatively, the third Aussie could be one with an EU passport who has been playing over here long enough to count as Fed-trained. Trouble is, I can't think of any examples who are both reasonable and remotely likely.
