as Hood says "everyone has their price" let's just hope it's the right one.
Personally I think if we could get a combination of cash plus players or a cash settlement nearer the 500K mark meaning we have enough to break players out of their contracts with other clubs (and the Bulls management are clever) we could end up with 4 or 5 new players in the squad.
4 or 5 good players would help us out a lot more than one star player (and by good I mean good not the good squad players we have signed over the last couple of years).
When you consider Morrison's comments about waiting around to finalise quota spots it shoes this might have been going on for a while. |

We should be building the next great team around him on the field and the club off it, and we should be highlighting our ambition by talking him into a new deal and a very bright future.
Have we really fallen so far, we're one of the greatest teams of the modern era for crying out loud.
He must stay, and nobody should be resigned to losing him, we can't rebuild our club around journey men aussies, have the last two seasons not taught us that!!
The campaign starts here Sam must stay, if he's allowed to leave Hood will have gone too far.
All we need then is a decent coach  |

Hmm. And seen that programme avatar from our latest Newbie on here before.
Just wonder how our Newbie - if that he is - would propose to set about talking Sam into this new deal and very bright future? Given its quite clear he want's to try his hand in Oz, and pretty well everyone accepts and understands that.
Maybe to help us see he is not an [iagent provocateur[/i he can help us with that? And help us understand why it makes sense to build a club round one individual?
