Really? So pray tell us, whose money did Khan use and how much?

After following the club since 1962 I feel so disillusioned with this news. Where is the money going? We must be the club in the championship with the best income by a country mile. How do lesser clubs like Batley and Dewsbury avoid this situation on a fraction of our income.

If you've been following the club for over 50 years then I think you can afford to wait a few more days. If this was an oversight and the winding up petition is removed next week, then we're just as you were as far as I'm concerned.

Get ready for another name change in your holding company! Gutted for you, I want to see a strong Bradford team back in SL. But I can't see that happening until you find an owner with an ability and willingness to pump prime the club with some serious money. The succession of failing owners goes back to the poor financial decision making of the glory days of early SL. Too much money spent, not enough earned and no where near enough invested in the future. Genuinely, good luck for 2016.

I agree with you and won't be going there. But less committed will when for £95 they can watch Wigan, Leeds, St Helens and other SL teams as opposed to paying £175 (in my case) to watch 2nd rate games. The Bulls pricing is wrong and the standard of performance of last season does not encourage fans to buy into the dream of getting back to SL. Especially when the coach persists with the likes of Luaki who would have looked crap in the pennine league.

I quite like paying over the odds for watching championship games as an expression of my contrarian nature, which is a big part of my RL fan-ing in general. I realise, however, that this is quite some way from a scalable business model.

Well, it's a classic symbiotic relationship. We have an owner, but no 'sugar daddy', so if either side decides to sack it then there will be no club. If it were ever to come to that, then there would be little point in worrying too much about who's fault it was.

The story wasn't broken by the club it appeared on Facebook and Twitter roughly an hour before the club issued the statement.

You can't pay for anything over the phone, you need to go into the ground. If you pay by card it'll take a couple of days to show. Sounds like the credit card issue still isn't fixed, I wonder if the two issues are linked.

Is the silence around the petition deafening? If it was a mistake and/or quickly sorted then surely they would have made this info public to satisfy people considering buying a season ticket. A lack of anything is getting more worrying by the hour IMO

Bought Season Tickets Friday 30th on CC, still in Pending Transactions whatever that means.

I was in the shop on the 28th buying my granddaughters season ticket. The debit card was used in the normal way by chip and pin machine and the value has now come out of my bank.

I didn't buy my own ticket, needless to say I will now be waiting until there is a bit more clarity on this winding up saga. Betsys Bulls point is also well made, the PR department need to be saying something to bring some reassurance. They are quick enough to spin another shirt sponsor etc. The fans and the business needs some confidence.

They've issued a statement saying it's a mistake and in the hands of solicitors so not sure what else to say. Unless, that's not actually true in which case I can't actually face any more.

I'm sure they'll be quick to let fans know when it's all sorted as this situation will have a serious effect on cashflow. For many it's a case of one bitten twice shy and only verification from hmrc that payments have been made will allay fears.

That is on the assumption that there are any payments due... The nature of the mistake and who was responsible for the mistake have not yet been made public.

Are the credit/debit card payments still going to the same company as before seeing as there has been an interruption in Bradford being able to take card payments. What was the interruption caused by?

Best bet is to make a purchase on your card and you can then check on your account. I don't think we have too many supporters from Warrington so I'm sure you will receive the best of service.

I'll feel more assured when we're not in the gazzette website anymore. Only then will we know that it's resolved.
