From what i've seen at academy level though, George Burgess has the potential to be the best English impact prop, as we generally tend to produce more hard-working ones than huge tackle-busting props.

Anyway, we have a good future with the amount of talent coming through in the pack is what i'm saying.

There's no doubt in my mind that Whitehead, Donaldson, Olbison & G Burgess will make it, some of the others will too, but I hope we can start producing more wuality backs, and the ones pushing through to develop into quality SL players (Hyde, Crookes, Wardle, Addy(playing SR atm though?))

Yet again Matt Orford takes number 1 spot after a fantastic game. Jamie Langley was just one vote behind and takes second spot. Wagga takes third by some margin.

surprised theres not much fr kearney thought he had another decent game. IMO kearney is gunna be great for us this year, all the talk about orford and no question he is class but kearney coming in under the radar a bit and i love what i see so far.

Let's see how it pans out but I agree if we can keep up the ratings after each game. Can you keep a record of all the scores?

I did suggest something a few weeks ago, happy to arrange something as plenty of others have sorted things out like yourself, Mission and Wiganbull.

I think I suggested some joke awards for on the board, maybe invite the winner and of course the Burgess twins

I am happy to keep the scores up to date. I know that the Bulls have a Players Player of the Year but I would say that the fans Player of the Year would be fitting as well.

There already is a Fans' Player of the Year. Fans vote through e-mail to the club (and possibly other ways, I forget) and that award is given out at the awards do.

I hear it was presented last year by a quite awesome individual.

Before you all get excited, shouldn't someone ask the club if we'd be ok to have an award and have it presented on the awards night?

As stated previously, there is already a fans player of the year award so they might not want to dilute that version by adding another.

The version I was thinking of would be run seperately but the inclusion within the club version might be a better idea, in which case yes we would need to ask

Unless the award was to be done at the official player of the year awards I can't see why we would even need to ask permission; I'm sure there is no law against giving somebody a medal...............

But I don't mind sending Duffy an email if other people are 'on board' with the idea.

They used to be more than happy for BISA to present a trophy each year at the POTY awards.
