He'd be ok outside a good centre, certainly has ability and size. Need to produce it more consistently.

He can play in the too. He did well at Odsal recently (a hat trick) and would be home grown too.

whether it would be a good signing depends entirely on which karl pryce turns up. The one who who wants to play would be a decent acquisition. The lazy lump who limps off after a soft tackle wouldnt.

Can't say the return of KP would have me jumping joy. Worth it perhaps if it convinces his better brother to sign too thouugh.

Exactly my thoughts. got to wonder if its part of a deal involving leon too. this next contract period would be there last chance to play on same team and cant see catalans picking karl up.

It'd be nice to see some real size and pace in the three quarters. Lulia and Pryce would be an imposing force for any team to deal with. Just look at the number of tries Karl scored playing outside Hape, if we do get him outside Lulia, hopefully we could see something similar.

I wouldn't be despondent at seeing Karl back at the Bulls, though I wouldn't like to think we were depending on him. Major thoughts would be about defence, though the current threequarters haven't totally covered themselves in glory there either, along with my impression that the only team Karl seems to [ireally[/i shine against is us. He certainly knew the way to the line when he was here before though, so I guess he can still do a job, but well behind such as Royston in the pecking order imo.

So we spent the whole of the last off season kite flying about signing a player who was contracted elsewhere and now he is off contract we're not signing him?

I'll be disappointed if we've missed out on our halfback targets for next year once again. Hood indicated that a top four finish is our target. Surely he cannot expect players like KP and AV to be of the calibre to achieve this? We'll be scrapping for 8th again next year if those rumours are true.

Wouldn't go near Karl Pryce. Has all the potential to be a world beater. But don't think he'll ever get there. He's lazy, doesn't work hard enough and certainly can't tackle.

I read this morning in LE that Catalans are chasing Wes Naiqama from Newcastle. Should we be interested? He has stood out in the Knights games I have seen whilst following Lulia progress. Currently playing FB for the Knights but often plays centre/wing. He has some pace and is a strong runner with the ball. Also currently doing the kicking at Newcastle whilst Gidley is out injured. Current Fijian Captain and stand in Captain at the Knights at the moment.

A lot of clubs down under also chasing him, but if he is considering offers from SL.. maybe he would fit the bill?

Naiqama was banged up I believe, dunno if he'd get in the UK.

he got periodic detention for driving whilst disqualified, basically being locked up 2 days a week. Think visa people are a bit more lenient with drivin related offences and wipe them off your record once the disqualification period is over. This might be different with him actually having been detained but I suspect he would be ok given it was in nearly 5 years ago.

we'd have to not retain one of herbert/ah van to sign him though and not sure he offers enough of an improvement over ah van to take the risk. he couldnt replace herbert unless we had another, non quota half coming in to take over herberts halves role.

Class player but I heard St George were after him so would think it unlikely he'd leave Australia. Leeds are meant to be chasing Chris Heighington (sp). Would love us to sign someone of that class.

From what I have seen he would be a welcome addition to our backline. He does have a few clubs down under tracking in, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have a punt at signing him!
