But it's still a good thing to have.

Whilst these are of good reading I kinda think its unfair to compare props based on them sort of stats as it says Appearances ..... but we all know Lynchy plays a hell of a lot of game time and im not sure that Hargreaves will play anything close to the same amount! However saying that he only seems to be a slight improvement on Koppy from the stats!! Hopefully will now allow us to play Hall in his proper position & maybe he will come good in his second year!

Anyway, I still think players like Hargreaves are ten a penny whilst Fielden for a couple of years would offer better service, especially in light of his more recent form.

If you are getting Elima as well then that really would be good (although your first choice props won't all be English then, unless Elima plays in the back-row).

On the English props issue, it is obviously a good thing but given England's relative strengths and weaknesses it would be better if you had an all-English backline (although it would probably not be better for the fortunes of the team in the short term given the dearth of English talent in this area!).

We had Halley Reardon Platt Sykes Sheriffe at times this season, that's a good effort for england if you ask me!

Hopefully McNamara won't see fit to repeat this line-up in his current role.

Superb signing, he's developed so much at Saints over the last two years that he'll give our pack some real beef.

Personally, I think he's as good a signing as Fielden when you look at all aspects.

Bryn Hargreaves. Another solid signing, though can't say i've ever rated him.

Thought it could be Hargreaves too. Good signing IMO.

certainly a left field signing but pretty happy with hargreaves signing. good solid hardworking prop who will take some off pressure of lynch and scruton. Also has time on his side to further improve and be a part of our pack for a good few years going forwards. Certainly seems to be an emphasis on signing younger players from potter.

Assuming we also get elima then dont think we really need anymore forward signings, although an impact prop would be a nice luxury player to have.

Same, I have never rated him, always been a bit player at Wigan and Saints. I find it a little disappointing to see Saints sign a great England International player in LMS, and we get the average player.

Must agree with the earlier posts, rather take Bryn than splash out on Dowes and Fielden.

No mention of Bryn's performance last night? I thought he looked a class act, very high work rate and put in a great defensive performance, he was a large factor in making Warringtons pack look ordinary.

Really looking forward to seeing him in a Bulls shirt next year.
