I agree with you. Yesterday was a sad day, but we thought it was going to be so much worse on Monday.
As you said when the recruitment starts, hopefully the mood will be lifted. Oakes is good news. I'd expect Kirk to sign up too. I saw Keinhorsts name been batted about as the loan player from KR but I very much doubt this as he's SL quality.
I depise DR, it makes a mockery of the league, but its absolutely pointless us not using it when most of the league do. Having almost a third of your 17 not your own players if a farce.
If it is Toronto, having 4 players without having to pay them every week will help our situation.
Hopefully we'll all feel better come kick off.

Players on loan or DR rarely come for 'free', although they usually end up costing less than their actual salaries. It's one way for clubs to reduce their cap spend as the payments from the club taking the players can be offset that.

Are you sure about that? I seem to remember Craig Harrison saying something along the lines of Fev having over £100k of talent in the squad but not paying a single penny for them.
I could be mistaken but I think the way the system works is if you DR a player then that's at no cost but loans you must agree the wages (a bit like Leigh did with Kevin Brown and Ryan Brierley).
I cannot see how a club can claim to save on the salary cap simply by offloading players on a week by week basis if not selected.

I've spoken to Eric Perez this morning and the money received from the sale of the three players will be used to pay the creditors and the wages as he outlined at the recent fans' forum.
I admire his optimism that whilst the Bulls brand might be toxic, it's far from dead.
Oh and due to people missing me I'm back on Twitter @TheGameCallerRL.

The key question here is which ' creditors' are in fact being 'paid'.
If one allows for 'the brewing storm' the true club debt will we are very confident now exceed £1M. In almost all instances insolvent businesses underestimate (or even do not know) the true magnitude of the sums owed to creditors. A current debt of circa £1M is more likely to be closer to the mark, and that does not include AC's alleged large debt which we aver is no more than convenient accounting chicanery.
Another scandal is also (allegedly) sadly brewing - accurate details of the club's top six creditors.

An obvious question you probably should have asked him is if (some of) the money from the sale of those players is being used to pay this month's wages, what are the Club going to use to pay November's?

Having re-read the relevant section in the Op Rules (highly recommended bedtime reading for insomniacs!) it would appear that you are correct in that offsetting payment for players on DR is only allowed if the parent club is a Championship club. However, there is specific mention of C and L1 clubs including any payments made to the parent club for, or match payments to, players on loan or DR to them. I very much doubt Fev have had all the DR players for free (Singleton, and quite possibly C Smith, an exception as that really was as a favour to Leeds), much cheaper than their actual real cost yes. I'd be surprised if anyone other than a few at both clubs know the reality of the agreement.

That's correct Mr Dog.
It's only from the December pay date that the club will see its commitment to wages significantly decrease.

Possibly and possibly not but there'll still probably be a fairly hefty sum to find for the other players and staff.

| Who do we have left that we could still sell? £20k seems to be the going rate for the best and best potential.
Lilley if anybody desperately needed a half back.
Stephenson
Doyle
Farrell?
Hitchcox
Kirk?
Foster?
Pickersgill, Hodgson, Crossley Culling I don't think would generate interest with a price tag around their neck. Not saying they won't come good in the future, just not previously been talked up like others.

| Hitchcox is going to Toulouse.doubt there was much if any of a fee for minchella and Keyes it just made the tribunal go away. The bulk of the money from Hull KR would have been for the 3 players under 21.would say Foster/Doyle or young Harry Shackleton would bring most by way of compensation. Can't see a fee coming from anywhere else.

I agree that there are unlikely to be 'transfer fees' for many of the players left
We can presumably make cost savings by 'getting people off the wage bill'. For example if a player is paid £2000 per month (as an example) and is offloaded to someone (i.e they take over his contract), then the club can presumably go to a creditor and offer them a monthly payment of £2000 until their debit is cleared. Is that how it will work?
If so, then it might be feasible to deal with many creditors by getting rid of players, and then having a slimmer squad bolstered by DR. I guess that's what Kear meant when he said at the forum about players leaving and having a smaller squad.

As said before it is being claimed that AC is the biggest creditor.
And again as said previously we do NOT believe that can be the case and is an act of mere accounting chicanery.
The more interesting question is other than the following four known major creditors:
a) Yorkshire Water,
b) Electricity supplier
c) ISC - former shirt supplier, and
d) Group of former senior staff/self employed consultants ....
... who (with the exception of the Chalmers bogus debt) were the remaining TWO of the top six creditors by outstanding debt value as of of 730pm on Tuesday 23 October 2019? If Sawyer / Wood were to be honest with their answer to the above fair and reasonable query then a small proportion of our legitimate misgivings re the Wood/Sawyer consortium may be set aside.
We know that if such two major creditor names as of 23/10/19 are disclosed to the public then that will definitely open yet another new massive can of worms.
For the record we reiterate that:
i) We are not deluded conspiracy theorists who have noting better to do with our lives;
ii) We don't want the new consortium to fail;
iii) We for the main part do not give two hoots what certain forum members think of us ([ithe likes of Dr Feelbad, drivelbul et al are respectfully NOT our target audience[/i), and
iv) After 7 years of poop we simply want what's best for our great club.
