I just think it's typical of Bradford to get in this mess. Irrespective of Sheffield's antics, whoever deals with contracts at the club should be sharp enough to smell a rat. This hoo hah might have been snuffed out before it got announced.

If i ever get to the stage where im more interested in another teams fortunes than my own i'll stop watching RL. Some fax fans (not all, most are decent) would rather see Bulls lose a game than their team win.

You can hold a player RFL registration without a contract e.g. Segeyaro at Leeds. However the statement suggests he is a contracted Sheffield player, so if the contact has not been torn up then you could owe a few £s for inciting Chisolm to breach his contract, similar scenario as Deny Solomona. Sheffield could argue Chisolm is an important player in the relegation battle which has a direct financial impact if they get relegated. So the cost could rise quickly if you haven't done things correctly.

a) Bradford think they've signed him but can't play him
b) Sheffield say he's still theirs but don't want to play him
c) Leigh are threadbare in almost all departments due to injury

Is there such a thing as reverse dual registration? Sheffield let him play for Leigh. Leigh release him when they're staffed again and all the nonsense is sorted.

How long do we think this process may take to sort out? I would hope the first thing we do this morning as a club is get straight on phone to RFL to see whats happening.

I think that if this isn't sorted by the end of tomorrow (Wed) then there really is a problem with the signing. If there is, I can't see us paying a transfer fee that really should be spent on the wage of a big prop. Hopefully, it will be announced very soon that he is ours.
We need him and all loans back this week and to keep them for the rest of the season.

I don't think any of our loan players got any game time for their parent clubs this weekend so with a bit of luck they will come back once this weekend is done with.

It also gives us a decent amount of time to rest up and try and get the Chisholm mess sorted.

We need to get this $hit storm sorted this week, we also need to sort out some more players from somewhere at the very least season long loans, if not we are def a gonner...
