Think the fans deserve better and need to know whats going on at the club.Think some fans need to get real "Sammut going to a smaller pond" face facts you were a big pond a few year ago just as we were in the early 60s.Sammut coming to Wakey would indicate that Wakey are now a slightly bigger small pond than the Bulls.I hope that you can turn a corner and end up with someone in charge like our own MC who didn't hide anything and told it like it was and has done a fine job so far in turning things round.Get behind the club they need you more than ever now and you never know a few month down the line things might be a whole lot better.

The words of Bradford fans in this thread are broadly similar to what was being said by us Wakey fans when Mr Carter took over, and promptly instigated a George Osborne-eque series of austerity measures that resulted in the culling of our squad.

Fast forward a few months and things look decidedly rosier at BV; admittedly the timing of all this is not great, but if your ownership wrangles can be resolved and the financial landscape becomes clearer, Bradford could emerge from this as a much more stable organisation.

For the fans of the club, I hope that happens - it's an awful situation to be in and we know that better than most.

Not how I heard it - be interesting to know where you got your info from, I got told all he wanted was a contract extension for security for him at a club, he did NOT want to leave Bradford but FC said he had to prove himself and earn it and told him he could look elsewhere

I guess we'll never really know 100% I trust my source as u do yours sammut was ace i thought brillant or crap lol but wasnt worth either imha he also walked out last week but came back i heard but guess it doesnt mater now I still think we are a good side on paper just a bit thin now

Well my source is the man himself explained everything and all the circumstances just before it was announced officially.

But all said and done it's time to move on and concentrate on the upcoming season still have a group of players we need to support - players will always come and go but the club always stays the same #COYB

I heard this from a source I trust. Also heard Sammut was already on a wage approaching £200000. If thats the case he was not providing value for money. Far too inconsistant.

Good call, and im sure those of us turning up tomorrow will do, [ibut [/iits a two way street supporting a club, and for the past few years its been all one way, support from us and bad news coming from the club, so its hardly surprising theres some who are just too weary from watching our decline.

Sammut wasn't playing sunday anyway. We had 3 halfs to find a spot for, now we have two. Let back and trust in Gale and Gaskell and hope to buggery neither gets injured. My biggest problem is hes gone to strengthen a direct rival for the drop.
