Well, in the beginning, we sort of were. But then josew came up with the wild-west-gunslinger Potter image and retro came up on the rails. I've done modern and retro, as have others, so I suppose what we'll go for is what the majority of us go for! The more to choose from in the final poll, I'd say the better. Don't think there's any design brief as such apart from the magic words needed.

Too cluttered. If you're going to use a mixture of colour background and Sepia/black n white, then a 50/50 split in such a small area jars.The previous banner with the small sepia of your manager was in the right porportions. The typeface looks like it was done by a dodgy 1950's Remington, and the black n white photos are simply a distraction.

Keep the left half, and extend that for the full lenght with the red/amber/blades as well, they're a nice touch, and I reckon it may well look something like!
