The commercial manager is an important role for the club. Without a big money backer, we need someone who can bring in additional revenue streams to the club beyond what fans bring in with ticket sales and merchandise. Hopefully Longo can bring something special to the role and help keep the club bringing in the money during what's likely to be a very turbulent offseason.

Yes, I was meaning Robbie was stepping in to Stevo's commentary shoes - I believe he is about halfway through memorising the Stevo Bingo phrases, but he's got to get the message out say, come on. I think he'd be something different, maybe a kick over the top.

Well John Whaling has quit as Sheffield CEO. He's been behind a number of attempts to save the Eagles but has apparently had a falling out with the board. Perhaps Bradford should see if he'd be interested in taking the job at Odsal?
