Stand outs for me were O'brian, Mellor, Gaskell... And Dono, Addy, Olbison and Sidlow with great defensive displays. If that was the core we could retain and find some good solid additions, things wouldn't look too bad.

Just what the doctor ordered - if Jimmy can coax a few more wins out this season it will certainly help put the fans in a more positive mood and help the ST sales for the new year. Let's hope we can get few more of the home grown lads signed up to get the nucleus of next year's team in place.

You out played us in every department and deserved the win. Some strange calls for both sides yesterday, your first try looked like it was an obstruction and didn't the ref stop the clock near the end of the first half only for the hooter to go before play restarted? I may be wrong but I thought he put both hands in the air to stop the clock.

I was reading Leeds V Salford match report on the Leeds website on Saturday and they have,according to whoever wrote the report,a " home banker" against the Bulls on Friday

That may well turn out to be correct but I thought it was rather cheeky
