Oddly enough, I have just been on the phone again just now. Apparently I could not talk to the store (but was offered an e-mail address???). However, my question about the away shirt was yet more uncertainty. No idea when it will be out and I must say that that IS bloody shoddy. You would think if a shirt is only gonna be used for one season then it should be available asap for people to buy and to optimise profits.

So, for the record, I did not "vehemently" attack the club shop. However, if I did then I reckon there was some justification in doing so. After season tickets, merchandise and shirts is a clubs best source of income. Someone seems to have forgotten that at Odsal this season.

Blimey they have a massive advert for the 80's revival where they refer to one of the performers as Rick Astly. Very poor show indeed, especially as I suspect he will be one of the main acts.

But the situation with the club shop and lack of stock IS now costing the club vital revenue. It would be a lot less frustrating for fans if the club actually informed fans why the club shop is half empty and why the away shirt is delayed. I'd ask at the fans forum.. but they seem to have dried up?

ISC's deadline for Super League clubs to have guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery of their newly designed replica shirts (home and away) plus new leisurewear lines is the end of May.

Due to the well documented financial problems at the club last year, and subsequent new ownership.

Omar Khan and the new OK Bulls Limited company couldn't complete their order to ISC until the beginning of October, which has created a rather unfortunate and unique situation for both ISC and the Bradford Bulls.

The unique situation being that ISC have a plethora of orders (international company) with deadlines attached.

No one is at fault, it's just one of those situations that couldn't have been avoided.

The away shirt and leisurewear lines are now scheduled to arrive Friday, 1st March. However, this date could change again.

That's utter shoite, unless you specify what the thing is to agree or dissent about, what on earth is your guarantee worth? Also, as there are only a finite number of RAB posters, you might as well say, equally meaninglessly, that you can guarantee that the agree-ers will be the same names over and over again. And, if on a specific point they were, what of it? If they agree on A, or on B, why would you be shocked if when A or B was raised people who previously had one view, had the same view?

On top of all of that I would also wonder why it is that Mick is privvy to this information yet nobody at the club seems to have been able to tell me this when I asked about the situation?

It is my birthday on Monday, and I hoped to have a nice new Bulls away shirt by then. The way things are going I will be lucky to have it in time for Christmas.

First off, FWIW I don't think Eddie has done anything wrong; he lives in Scotland and he's having bother buying goods and, as he rightly points out, it's costing the club money so it [ineeds[/i to be brought to the attention of the powers that be, which is all he's done, imo.

That said, trying to link it to a deeper malaise is wrong. [iEverything[/i about this season is going to be affected by problems from last year, whether it be setting up the new website, sorting the squad or putting together new contracts for supplies to the shop. We were late to the party.

No-one's fault, it was circumstances and we're having to wait in the queue behind others who didn't have a problematic pre-season and so got in first. as I said before we don't have potfulls of money to throw at the problem, so it may take a bit of time, but we will get there.
