You were probably there same time as me. Shirt does look a lot better on the flesh. Sammut was shorter than I expected but exaggerated by having burgess stood next to him who's flipping enormous

| Quote ="Bull Mania"Have to disagree, ISC were god awful when we were with them, particulary the quality of the shirts. Also the last 5 away shirts from Kooga have been outstanding. Last years purple kit was a real seller. Would rather have Kooga than ISC'"
I'd say the quality of the previous four Kooga shirts was outstanding but not last years, which is quite poor imo. The material isn't as strong, it's very thin and poorly stitched to be frank.
I'm not sure why. Maybe it was Kooga trying to scrape a few extra quid profit per unit or maybe the club has some input into these costings and it was their decision.
If it was the club's decision, to be fair I'm not going to knock it too hard, after all the extra profit is going to the right place and most people (or am I just speaking for myself?) usually buy a new one each year, so having a shirt which is still looks perfect at the end of the season is a bit of a waste in many ways. I know for a fact I have a number of old shirts which still look perfect, virtually new, though that definitely doesn't include last years.........

I think it dropped from £45 to £40 the season before but now it seems to have gone back up again.

The women round your neck of the woods must wear their suspenders (I thought they all wore tights nowadays??) in a strange way. Round our way they used to hang them from a belt round the waist not round their necks.

| Thought it looked really smart on yesterday (Whitehead was wearing it when I got there).
Like the slimming lines on it especially.
Noticed we've got a new shirt sponsor: Greenwoods. Judging by the comments from some of the lads on here the 200 quid gift voucher you can win in the raffle will come in handy for some of 'em. Think of all the high waisted Farah slacks you can buy with that!

| For once I won't get on my hight horse about the new shirt and will refrain from getting all hot under the collar.
My calm take on the new effort is that it is yet another monstrosity from A-level design students that Kooga have holed up in their office churning out jokes instead of kits for Rugby League clubs too stupid to sign a deal with a half decent company.
Yes, I lied.

| It's alright, neither offensive or making me go.. wow I need to get myself one of those. I usually buy at least 1 of the shirts, but I'll hold on until I have seen the away effort. I also hope the quality is a little better than last year, there was a very obvious drop in quality when you compared 2010 shirt with 2011.
I doubt I'll buy both once again if it is the cheapy version of 2011. Still not a fan of that daft bit of faff under the neck, I'm hoping the away one has a similar neckline to the 2010 shirt. I'm not too worried about having a collar but the excess material under the chin is bloody irritating.

Don't tempt fate.

| Technically speaking it must surely be entirely possible to have slightly distinct playing and replica shirts. That style collar is presumably to do with being grabbed as a player but on your average non athlete that style just looks daft. A replica version could have, for example, a real collar or a v-neck and not look as odd.

Jeez, how long have Wigan had their shirts on sale? It must be ages if they're wearing out already, unless they're wearing them for work down the pit!!

I guess they could produce fully badged sweatshirt versions as an option. If you're going to bring out a shirt as a replica though I think it should stay as, well a replica, just as the players wear. Maybe it would impact on prices if they brought out two versions, losing the economies of scale and all that? Maybe, it would sell more and increase profits? It's not as though they aren't going to bring out sweatshirts in lots of differing designs and styles anyway. There I go, decisive as usual.....
