| Langley is 100% a second rower, and i belive he is currently the form forward in Super League. For the past few seasons i have slated Langley, but this season he is looking a quality player, very much like Dallas Johnson was when at Melbourne, a machine. Langley should not be compared to O'Loughlin becuase they are totally different players. But this year Langley looks a totally different playe, the yards he is making is sensational and his tackling is monsterous. If he keeps up the form he will be in the running for Man Of Steel no matter what position we finish in.

| Watched the game again on V+ last night and Langley's performance looked even better. I think it was Stevo who said he really seems to have raised his game. I think he was starting to play like this about 2-3 years ago then something happened. Whether it was injury, conditioning, coaching, I don't know but its great to see him back. Very much like having a new quality forward in the team

Yes, I agree with that. Friday was Hall's first good game, so I hope he can build on that. But along with Lynch and Scruton, Langley has been outstanding in every game we've played.

Hall wouldn't look so bad if he got rid of that bloody thing under his nose, I'm sure.

It distracts the opposition, a cunning ploy

| Langley has always been a beast. Friday was no different. It's just people are waking up to how good of a player this guy actually is.

| Speaking as a a Wigan fan - congrats on the comeback by the way - I think Langley has been outstanding as well but don't quite see the need to slate O'Loughlin in order to praise Jamie. To be fair, both are tremendously hard-working players who are just tackling machines, both easily making over 40 tackles in single games this year. I don't think anyone would disagree that Lockers is far more creative with the ball than Langley but, on the other hand, Langley runs the ball in much harder than Lockers. In fact, Langley runs the ball in harder than most of the props in Super League, only he does it for a lot longer. Personally, if I were picking the England team right now, I'd have Langley, Lockers and Sinfield (Sinfield at dummy half, as in 4 nations) in the team and I think they'd all do us proud.

As a junior he was highly regarded for his passing ability. In fact my very first memory of him in a Bulls shirt was of a couple of great passes at wakey. Over the years the passing side if his game seems to have declined, we've obviously decided to use other players in that role.

I'd struggle to disagree with anything you've said there. Good post.
