What has Stephen Wild been up to recently? Is he still at Salford and just not getting a game?
Also I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if we sign Danny Bridge permanently, I've been impressed with him at his time during the club.

Edit: Just looked at Wild's wiki page and it has him down as playing for the North Wales Crusaders this year. He also co-owns a gym called Wild Bull Fitness with Adam Sidlow (I think), so the connection is there. Didn't realise he was 32 though, not really the type of player I'd like to see us signing but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

quite. but lets face it, for one year - correction FA, part of a year - with so much cap to spare, a bit of personal bonus to keep us in SL would be money well spent to motivate any of those players. because what we need is the experience on how to close a game off, as well as the mongrel and the bulk of the likes of Fakir. kids never won anything.

Confirmed in t&a article were close signing a prop. Also says ferguson could play Sunday and Gaskell hopefully back for London. Mullally and bridge not available for cup game as expected though.

He's right it is the wrong time, the right time being anytime before today. Any players that are required by clubs for Easter are also probably required for the rest of the season to continue covering potential injury, so they're not realistic targets anyway. I see a pattern forming preparing us for the lack of new recuits of any significant quality. Hope Im wrong but Id guess we'll get one new prop, one other loan signing and thats it. Hope Im wrong.

There is also a chance of one ore two from down under. Cummins said a few weeks back that we are now near the time where some decent players down under are either warming the bench or missing out to younger players and they may be keen on moving. There is some sense in that if you are pushing 30 and not getting games. It doesn't mean they are rubbish. There could be some decent players like this that could go OK in SL.

think the most realistic targets are players in the Queensland or NSW cups if you have quota space and the UK border agency clear them....or championship players who want a crack at SL and are in last year of contracts so Transfer fees wont be too high
