thanks Verdeyen01 I will add that it is rumoured he has dispensation this year too to the OPost, but there had to be some degree of certainty for the TnA to mention twice that both nas and sam were in discussions. the possibility of getting both resigned is great news.

Maybe an extra dispensation because it similar to situation original dispensations were granted in that by time our ownership was resolved most clubs will have filled their quotas limiting sammuts employment opportunities same as when crusaders decided to not apply for license mid season?. Would solve a problem area recruitment wise if true.

ii) perhaps Pryce's departure is purely financial, I'm led to believe he was on substantial money, makes no bones to me what he's paid, but perhaps those in the new regime don't deem him to be value for money.

Think we could have a strong back row in years to come, with Olby and Whitehead in the second row and Bateman at loose, with Donno on the bench.

Early on in the season, against HKR, Langers was injured at half time. 2nd half we lined up with Whitehead Rt side 2nd row, Bateman Lt side 2nd row & Addy at LF. We took HKR apart in that 2nd half.
That combination was impressive. I would like to see it get more game time if possible.

Yeah totally forgot about that. Think Bateman is just as effective in the second row as loose forward.

I think Bateman is a far better backrower, than a loose forward, from what Ive seen of him in the 1st team.

Re my previous comment re Carvell and Bridge. 1. Why did Carvell not play,to my knowledge, in either the semi-final or the final. To be fair, he could be injured. 2. I remember Chris Bridge at the Bulls years ago. At that time with the half-backs we had then he had no chance of first team rugby, and was probable pleased to go to a decent club like Warrington. As for my knowledge of rugby league I saw my first match at Odsal in 1945.so I do know a little!
