| "oh look! I've got the ball!"
"...oh fook...I've got no idea what to do with it now..."
How many times did we see that?

If that's true about Halley, that's dreadful for the lad

| We look in dire need of a coach who can get heads up and work on getting the players to play as a team.

Perhaps more importantly we need to take all our eggs out of the one basket for next year. Without Orford we're too predictable to defend against, we desperately need to recruit a stand off for next year. Kearney isn't the answer and neither is Sykes. If we lose Ox again next year we'll be in the same boat, regardless of who is coaching from the sidelines.

| Quote ="paulwalker71"Ferocious Advaark, you mention factions / divisions (twice, in fact)
Would you care to elaborate on what you mean?
Have you got good reason to think this, or is it just pure speculation?'"
It is "rumours", I suppose, but comes from a pretty reliable source, who told me a full and sorry tale which, if half true, explains a lot of why we suddenly have seemingly become a team that doesn't play as one. The rumour includes that we will have to add a scrum half to our squad as we will be one light in that department. Though I couldn't possibly say who or why.
Then again, if the rumours are untrue, and that this really is the best team effort we can do, then lord help us, from that perspective I even hope there is some truth in it all.
Oh, and the same guy also told me about Dave Halley's tragic loss, so seemingly has some info that not many had, from somewhere. I am desperately sorry for Halley, though I don't think he would have made any difference today and Finnigan took his chance well and looks a decent prospect though may wonder what he's let himself in for.

| Not an unexpected result! Who really expected St Hillaire to turn things round in less than a week with the same Players McNamara struggled with? The game was lost in the first 10 minutes and then the fight back, as usual left ourselves with too much to do in too little time. We can't just keep carrying the ball up the middle and hope for the best. Get it out wide and we have a fightback on our hands.
Positives as already mentioned, Finnigan 2 tries and 1 mistake, why didn't we play him earlier?
Addy, decent kicking game and took responsibility for the goal kicking. Never stopped trying, a lot to take on young shoulders. Bodes well for next season as long as we don't let him slip through our fingers.
Koppy gets better each week.
Why do we still try to flog Lynchy to death, we gain nothing from it?
Langley still not right but always gives 110%.
In an ideal world we should be bringing the Beaver off the bench but never gives less than 110% effort.
Game was there to win in the dying seconds but "que sera sera".
Good to see most of the Fans stay to the end to applaud, hope the Team was heartened by that!

| Oh yes and we've forgotten how to score from in front of the sticks. How many tries would Jimmy have scored from the positions we get into? The possetion and position we squander is shocking! Lowes would either score or put a forward over 9/10.

Well you've found some positives but TBH we were playing a very average Salford and with the amount of possession and position we should have created more and done better. Some of the kids did well but we were relying on them when a better showing from our more senior players was needed.

We were just saying that earlier. And that we used to be able to rely on some bloody great big three-quarters to charge over from within the last ten metres.
And as Sam says, it took the kids to show how it should be done. The only positive I took out of today.
And the place was like a ghost town before the match. Bars shut, most of the food vans gone. Where were the thousands who swore never to come again until Macca had gone?

I don't know if your post is serious, I can only presume that it is joke? The fact is that with no recognised manager we still came as close to winning as we had done in the previous eight games with that idiot in charge, even with an even more weakened team. The fact that you judge getting rid of McNamara as not working before even bringing in his replacement is laughable!
As for the game it was obviously not great, not quite sure what people were expecting with our currently situation though, with the players we have missing, no manager and no playmakers at all!

Agreed, I've just had enough of being negative. Macca's gone and nobody has a magic wand. St Hillaire can't work miracles but the Players could make some effort. If I turn up every week at least they should!

As we pretty much knew at the time, these were petty much all just snivelling, lying toerags. If they had had one ounce of decency in them then we would have had over 10K in the ground today with the Anti-Mac stayaways returning, but it was entirely predictable that none would actually come back and so you have to doubt whether any of them ever went in the first place. Waste-of-spacers.

| Nobody's said Salford didn't deserve it. They scored off every chance they created.
We could only dream about being so clinical.
Agreed that the Bulls certainly had the best of the ref.

Give over, it use to be one of the toughest places in SL. Were Salford the better side? Absolutely yes. So yes Salford without question deserved their victory.
But as Bulls fans, we're more concerned why we cannot do better against what was a poor side that we came up against today. Sorry if that comes across as disrespectful but even with the players we have missing, we should be doing the basics right.

| Attendance according to Sportinglife was 6,382. If they've got it right (and not jumped the gun again like a few sites have done this season), that's an awful attendance. It didn't seem that much lower than previous weeks to me.

If I'm being generous, that's 6000 Bulls fans. We must be getting close to the die hard hardcore support now. Is the figure the actual number of bodies through the turnstyle or do they automatically include the season ticket holders onto the figure? I was stood above you, anyone would think you hadn't showered for a month given the amount of space around you!!

So 6200 from Bradford. That's about the hardcore I guess.
