Well we'll just have to trust Potter and the powers that be but a headline/story which tells us we're signing Brett Seymour but not Leon is gradually turning into we're not signing Leon or Seymour but instead we're signing 'a good player'. I'm not overly impressed with the way Leon not returning has beeen spun.

I have a feeling that if Connor could go back in time a few days, he wouldn't run that article about Leon/Seymour.

seeing as hull have mckinnen,heremia and seymour on board phelps seems redundant for next year. dont see how hes an improvement on anyone we have though. or thinking in terms of quins maybe loaning briggs for remainder of year in return for them releasing clubb?. Cant see it being anyone paricularly exciting given way connors phrasing it.

i will speculate that he will be in the top 3 quality halfbacks that move to/ within SL this off season

a quins player would make sense of briggs suddenly going on loan there, if it was as a sweetener in deal. Shame they dont really have anyone I'd see as a decent improvement on squad we already have.

As Gale can't defend for toffee signing him and allowing Briggs to go wouldn't make a jot of difference to the squad IMO.
