Me +3 Pledged

T'was me who mentioned it. If the ticket office folk are working their way through the text messages to get people's details (which it sounds like they are), I would hope after that's done, they make their way through the website ones just to send out an acknowledgement. Although it would have been better being automated.

Minor flaw I suppose though if 10,000 is hit by October 4, then it's still open to anyone to get their £60 season ticket. If that point though, only people who pledged could buy them, and that system had failed at all, there will be some highly annoyed folk.

thats the bit that slightly worries me. they havent said what happens after oct 4th. if they reach the 10k target will they continue to sell tickets at £60 or would they rise up to normal prices?. given that they arent contacting people for payment till after oct 4th you wouldnt know if their had been a problem until after cutoff date if there is one. and with no email confirmation how do you prove you made the pledge?.

Don't know if anyone on here close to Bulls admin is aware but it's Bingley Music Live in a fortnight. I'm not sure if there's any opportunity there to plug this?

Also I know it's after the deadline but it's the Bradford City Run on October 17th and the Bulls are a partner in it. Is there any chance of a link on that site?

That's been worrying me too i just cant remember ticking a box stating which ticket i was pledging for.

he's in for a nasty shock then as my understanding is that by making the pledge he's entered a legally binding contract to purchase the tickets for £60 provided we make them available at that price. Jolly nice of him to contribute £300 to bulls coffers

would imagine was in the loop reharding the announcement and has already filed his story to be published tomorrow before going on holiday tbh.

Actually if he doesn't pay up it'll go up to £450 first.

The City deal got mentioned on virtually every sports bulletin and Paul Ogden seems to spend half his sports show every night banging on about Leeds Carnegie who let's face it no one really gives a toss about so this should be worth a mention.

What's the cost of an advert on Pulse? Is this do-able if we all chipped in 20 quid like the Burgess Twins sponsorship?

find out if he's given his correct details before you drop the bombshell. gurantee his first response will be 'i made up details', to which you can respond they can track his ip address

He's even bragging of the beauty of multiple site visits that he's done to make these fake pledges.

The smal print on the leaflets states that if you don't pay up by the payment deadline in November it the cost goes up by 50%.

Re season tickets post 4th October - my understanding from the club is that if 10000 pledges are made before 4th October season tickets will be on sale to all at the special price at least until the payment deadline. Don't hold off though, remember the 10000 figure must be reached first!

Just wishing you good luck with the Pledge. Seems like a great idea and may give the club new impetus going into 2011. The Bulls have had good support for many years and it's sad to see it slipping. Just hope to see Bradford back up at the top end of the table and getting 20k crowds at Odsal again. Hope to see some of the true Bulls fans who don't disappear after a few defeats at the DW in a couple of weeks time. Otherwise hope to see you on the rise again in 2011.

Murphy has taken a holiday during the season?????? An RL journo who almost certainly won't be sent to watch England in Australia? Maybe his editor might ask what his plans are for most of October, November, December and January and whether he might be best advised to catch a few days break during these four months of absolutely nothing happening rather than in the week the Bulls launch their 'Pledge 10000' and the Challenge Cup final is played.

Thankyou for that and I think we are well on our way to getting the 20,000 gates back at Odsal for the visit of the Rhinos next year.
