Tbh Ross is an average Joe type player, lower league journeyman.
It shows how far we ve fallen when we are upset by losing him.
Don't get me wrong appears a great guy and gave his best whilst here

| Would you stay with an employer that treated you like this?
I wouldn’t. Always enjoyed seeing Peltier play and he gave his best.
I reckon he’ll be really good for Doncaster.

Yeah course they did Doncaster offered him a real contract paying real terms. We offered him fresh air and good intentions along with a promise to make pension contributions that haven’t been made for 3 years.

It probably shows we have a budget and we are sticking to it. At least we are offering contacts.

Im not sure how Bradford could be offering contracts. It can't be a legally binding document when there is no way the RFL are going to sanction it so no player in their right mind would be talking to Bradford about re-neweing their contracts.

You appear to be of a similar ilk Greg, and in all likelihood you are merely being realistic mate.
For the record we maintain that CB is a good bloke and a proven numbers man, but is we fear likely to prove to be the right man for the wrong job.

That’s what I said. We’re still in special measures so aren’t able offer anybody anything.

| Contracts are contracts. The Rfl have no control over whether contracts are offered or not. They can only register them, or refuse to register them. Of the players who are out of contract in 5 weeks time, I assume the ones we want to keep will know the terms that are on offer once (if) Special measures are lifted. I also assume they’ll be looking to see what is on offer elsewhere. They then have a decision to make

How the hell did Halifax finish mid table if some of their players are on £100m?
A less facetious example would be like saying “ we’ll be approved and out of SM beginning of next week, we’re offering £6k + win bonus part time terms. We’ll hope you’ll sign on Tuesday- think about it.

| I think I'm right in saying that all contracts go from November 1st to October 31st.
If so, then nobody is out of pocket (yet?). Ross Peltier will get paid by the Bulls on October 31st (I hope) and is then - and only then - a free agent. His next payday, if he were still to be contracted would be November 30th.
The fact that he's already agreed to take up and alternative offer can only mean one of three things
1. He was made a provisional offer by the Bulls, but Doncaster offered a better deal
2. He wasn't offered anything yet by the Bulls, so because of the uncertainty decided to take what [iwas[/i on offer
3. He was told that he wasn't going to get offered anything by the Bulls whatever happens

Actually there are considerably more possibilities than those 3. Even if offered the same or better by BB he may have decided to sign for Donny to get certainty. AC has been saying for quite a while that the SMs would be sorted soon, but as yet........

| It seems to me that CB (or someone since he isn’t officially in charge) is working on clearing the decks to start again.
We shouldn’t be too surprised by this because IIRC wakey did this when both wakey and the bulls were in financial problems the first time whilst still in SL and under licensing. Rather foolishly the bulls tried to stick with pretty much no changes to the squad and push for higher money rewards whilst wakey shed a lot of players knowing licensing kept them in the league regardless. The rest is history...
I can’t recall whether CB was involved back them with wakey but it’s very similar to me. I’m sure they are looking to sort of the back of house and cobble together a part time team with dual reg partner to limp us through the season. The only problem being if we leave it too late we might not have anything to put out and asking the fans to back that is a tough sell.

Sure is Bulls4.
To clarify re CB he became a Director of Wakey at same time as Carter in August 2013, but we don't know when the Trinity clear out you refer to above occurred.
Moreover, we understand that CB was in the background at Wakey for 1-2 years prior to his formal appointment.
CB is a decent number cruncher and a reasonably good bloke - why he apparently fell out with Carter, so he can't be half bad lol
Anyhow what is the real shame in our humble opinion is that Chris might end up proving to be the right man for the wrong job,.We say this [unot [/ubecause we want to be malicious, but because a) there are more shocks and problems to follow/emerge, and b) we are confident that some folk, or one particular person, is/are pulling his strings, and in a manner which is not 'Bulls' fans centric'.

| I'm sure if you forewarned CB and his consortium of any impending shocks you feel are going to come out in the very near future then they would be really greatful.
You could do so specifically, but anonymously I'm sure.

Look guys, we'd like to reveal what has been going on because it is not good. But we are bound by instructions from nestegg Counsel and the authorities who have instructed us not to give out any detail as to what the 'matter' may pertain to.
As for CB our legals have made it clear that he is not a BB17 shareholder and thus is in effect presently a virtual legal non-entity in respect of the Bulls. That said, even if he and Sawyer etc gain an interest then it's for the authorities to formally approach the club director(s); not us.
We accept that this is somewhat of a nebulous response, but we have to take heed of advice. What we can offer, however, is that when the investigations are concluded and the story is ready to be published we will forewarn the forum. Deal?

You don’t have to take heed of advice, you choose to.
Take this advice - stop bothering people on here. You’ve already turned one previously regular poster away from the forum and you’ll be sending more the same way if you carry on posting nonsense behind a supposed ‘consortium’.
Do you think anyone really believes that if you were as clued up as you say you are, that you would be posting all of this on here?

We note your (repetitive) so called advice and endless shallow attempts to 'put us down'.
We have explained numerous times why we are on the forum, but if you choose not to accept our reasoning then that's your lookout; not ours.
If, as you allege, you believe what we are commenting upon, or alluding to, is nonsense then we (as Pumpetypump did last week) refer you to the 'ignore' button.
Bulls' fans have a common enemy. It's not the nesteggers.
Footnote - we contacted you by PM Ewen in order to simply seek to engage with you in a manner which did not involve endless vitriol. If that wound you up then once again that's your problem. We do not resort to rude behaviour and we will definitely not get wound up by the many forum naysayers. Anyhow, it is the Bulls that is in the midst of a crisis; not this forum.

You don’t speak for Bulls’ fans and you certainly don’t speak for me.
You claim to care about Bulls fans yet you have already contributed to one Bulls fan no longer coming on here. You deny that what you are doing is immoral whilst plenty of us on here disagree. Initially I wondered if you believed that you are a better judge of morality than the rest of us on here. Then I realised, your moral standards are simply much lower.
I did block you initially, but I think the forum is better served when more of us call you out. I’m sure it won’t be long until you snake away, like your previous aliases.
As it used to be said on here, ‘I claim my five pounds’. This time I reckon there are plenty of us who would be five pounds richer.
