| The fact that virtually everyone of us is taking this setback on the chin illustrates just how far fetched we deemed the appeal to be. Time to quickly move on.
What will be the players reaction on Sunday though? They'll possibly decide to dig ourselves out of this hole the traditional way....or they entirely give up and we get bent over.

RFL Statement
Quote An independent Sporting Sanctions Appeals Panel has upheld the six-point deduction handed down to Bradford Bulls by the RFL Board of Directors as a penalty for entering into administration in January 2014
RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer said: “The RFL accepts the decision of the Sporting Sanctions Appeals Panel and would like to place on record its thanks to the panel members for their professional and thorough approach
“The unique nature of this panel, and the forensic nature of the investigations that have taken place, have made for a very complicated process which is now at a conclusion
“The time has now come to move on and put this chapter in the history of Bradford Bulls behind the sport
“Bradford Bulls chairman Marc Green and his fellow directors have acted in a proper and dignified manner throughout this process and their continuing commitment will ensure the club’s future success."
The independent Sporting Sanctions Appeals Panel will hand down a full written judgement within the next 14 days.'"

There are very clear guidelines. You just didn't accept them until you were told a second time, and it sounds like Marc Green wants the chance to be told a third time.
The new format will help you. You'll have one of the biggest fan bases in the Championship and so should be competitive by the time the middle chunk play each other. You've every chance of bouncing back. Due to the new format, I'm expecting a few clubs, like us and Fev and Leigh and one of the Hull clubs and Fax to be bouncing between the two divisions regularly.

| The simple fact is that some people will look to blame others but fundamentally it is all our own fault. The club have been run by a collection of charlatans and shysters for years now and it has finally caught up with us.
Unfortunately the people who are ultimately responsible for this situation are not really going to be affected by the decision whatsoever and the players and fans of today are the ones who will suffer for their utter incompetence.
But it is not as if we were not warned. Whilst the fans assistance in saving the club last time round was admirable, it was also pretty embarrassing watching us bring out the begging bowls like some city centre "dweller" who is desperate for a "cup of tea."
It has been one disaster after another and, as I have said MANY times before, had it been another club I very much doubt that anyone on here would realistically be able to defend it whatsoever. As today proved, there was simply no case for the defence.
So next year will be the Super League without Bradford Bulls, barring some sort of miracle. In the unlikely event that I win the lottery then I promise I will buy out Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and liquidise them immediately. That would cheer us all up.
The collective brain-cell will be in overdrive in the fair city of Wakey today and, TBH, I can actually hear all the horses hooves from up here as they all ride into the city square to high-six each other.
I am not 100% convinced however, that Super League NEEDS the Bradford Bulls, but we certainly need Super League.

| I feel angry and upset by the decision we can't do anything right when it comes to the RFL (clowns) for me unless we win every game till the end of season I can not see us staying up we will just be playing catch up with Wakefield all the time, relegation will not do the club any favours in my opinion it will make it worse Odsal is a drain as it is and crowds will go down even more yet again forcing the club into admin and maybe even going out business, R.I.P Bulls, sorry to sound down hearted but nothing seems to go for us these days.

Considering it's taken about 6 months to sort out, it surely could be a bit clearer - and let's not get started on the alleged threatening sending down of Wakey if they went back into admin. People are very quick to jump on the "the rules are clear" statement, when it's obviously anything but. I have no beef with the decision made, but the process is far from simple (especially as - lest we forget - this administration was nothing like the first one)
Consistency is not flavour of the month at the RFL - I genuinely look forward to the written report on what went on if only for some insight into what went on this time.

| The only thing that i still fail to understand is how can the RFL deduct us 6 points as BB2014, yet they never actually got control.
BBNorthern or whatever we are now called, took control without the RFL considering the potential for paying off creditors and reducing the deduction.
The RFL are comparable to FIFA in all this.

| Still as clear as mud. And the RFL statement includes the words forensic and complicated, not just a straightforward are you going to pay any creditors, take note Slugger McBatt. And yes I do agree with you that the new format should mean pretty swift promotion, and also would be a good thing for the club, simply to get back into a virtuous winning cycle again. Shame it was not in place first time around, we would have been relegated and promoted again by now I am sure.
But we have to wait another two weeks to find out what the case was and why insufficient. Even then we probably (@ 0.99 probability) will not know what the further options are that the Bulls statement refers to.

| Right. These are questions I want clear YES/NO answers to:
1 - Was the admistration primarily intended as a means of removing Khan from the picture?
2 - Did the RFL work closely with and provide advice to Moore & Co, regarding bringing this about?
3 - Did the RFL work closely with Moore & Co, or at least did they provide active and constructive advice, regarding entering administration?
4 - Were the RFL involved in any way in the setting up of the (ultimately aborted) prepack?
5 - Did the RFL provide advice, input, guidance or indications of likely outcomes to Moore & Co, which they relied on in setting up the prepack?
6 - Did the RFL tell Moore & Co - or at least did they leave them with a clear understanding - that there would be no points deduction for entering administration and immediately exiting through a prepack?
7 - Did the RFL see or request business plans and/or financial projections from Moore & Co prior to administration?
8 - Did Moore & Co propose and intend to repay all the non-Khan creditors, and if so is there demonstrable proof that this was intent not just words?
9 - Did the RFL give Moore & Co full opportunity to present and discuss their business plans, before ruling on the points deduction and the (debilitating) ongoing special measures?
10 - Had the club new players lined up ready to join, whose signings were stymied by the continuing special measures?
11 - Were Moore & Co given any prior indication that special measures could or would continue after the administration?
12 - Did the RFL impose a 6 point penalty not a 4 point penaly because they had determined that NO creditors would actiually be repaid?
Maybe we will get answers in the formal report. I rather doubt it,though. Others may be content to let the matter lie and "move on". Not me. I will not be content until I know the answers to the above questions.
I suspect there are people who know where the bodies are buried, who hitherto have largely kept their own counsel. I would very much invite and urge any such people to now put in the public domain any (further) information that might cast light on anything that has gone on.
I suggest that, only when we know the answers to these questions (and doubtless some others that I have not included) will ANYONE be in any position to judge whether the destruction of the Bulls over recent months has been justified, unavoidable, inevitable, accidental, criminal, or just plain reprehensible?
And who is actually to blame for the destruction, so they can be judged by history accordingly.

| Are we getting any reasons for the judgement at all? Would that be too much to ask?
And anyone else really believe that we are going to appeal? Or just more big words from our invisible "owner"?
Relegation, oblivion, here we come. Hope all respective parties are happy with themselves. Sleep well tonight.

Marc Green was interviewed on BBC Radio Leeds this evening. One comment he made was:
"We have been told, for a bizarre reason, that we did not meet the criteria to even have the appeal considered"
Sounds like we fell at the first hurdle.
