As the original point eluded to, Hall is the worst kind of SL import. By plenty.

He's turning out that way, but when you look how he played in his last 2 seasons in the NRL, you can see why we signed him.

Although he's been $hite, I'll give him till next season. After all, look at Vainikolo's first season with us!

Hall is arguably the most unfit, air-blowing out of his ringer, pound for pound expensive, pish poor import in SL. And that takes some doing amongst the bile.

Administrators bluster at our national team and yet ratify appalling imports who continue to negate opportunities for younger players with no less ability.

Hall does nothing Crossley and probably G Burgess couldn't provide.

He's in his first season in a different country, he's being played out of position and he's had alot to deal with off the pitch.

Give him a break, I can only assume that most of you do not watch any NRL as you do not know what Hall is capable of. I am disappointed he hasn't reached his potential yet, but give hima full season in his favoured position and he will.

I've seen him in Nrl.. Nothing special in what was a good team... End of.

Obviously if oyu have the likes of Watmough and Stewart in the back row you won't be the best one



However he was consistent and was getting picked regularly in a GF winning team. If you had watched enough of him, you would know he is capable of being a very good player.

Think of some recent imports who didnt have the best of first seasons

Riddell, Richards, King, Monaghan. It must take time to settle in

Glenn Hall is rubbish, thats all.

Matt King wasnt too popular with the wire fans in his first year. Not sure many would swap him now.

Unfortunately with the tightening overseas player restrictions we cannot afford to have such an average player taking up a quota spot when we have players who can do just as good a job from our reserves. Whilst I am sympathetic about his family problems he is not justifying his spot IMO. Hopefully it is a case of taking a while to settle in and he will come good next year. If not he has been a disappointing accquisiton.

Orford & Kearney are good enough for any team in SL (not saying they would displace present incumbents), Hall would be lucky to make any team on current form. The loss of Orford has been disastrous but you still have a good enough team to be mid-table.

Maybe we should see if Wakey want to swap him with Millard

I wouldn't take Orford over McGuire, Burrow, Myler, Briers, Tommy Leu, Sean Long, Rangi Chase or Kyle Eastmond.

Hall wouldn't make any other SL side, including Crusaders, Quins or Salford.
