I`m not sure he LEFT under a cloud, I think he was out of contract and that Warrington offered him a wage way above what we were prepared to pay (so no change there then!!) which isn`t really a cloud. There has been the odd thing since, of course, bit I`d guess it only counts as a bit grey and not a full black mark.

Watched him at Wire closely. Bridge is a good centre and can step into 6 (or even wing/full back at a push).
Very versatile - I hope we keep him.

6 is not his position though - he hasn't got the vision for a 6.

I was also very concerned about his off field antics - and he allegedly went awol more than once when Cullen was at coach, but whatever Smith has, he can get the best out of a Bridge.

I don't know how it'll all work next year, but it would be sad to lose him.

Bridge left us because he was troubled off field and he id too much trouble quite good but not gonna win us the super league is he.

I'm settled with Sykes at 6 for next season, could do worse. Then we still need some cover, although I think Bridge would be pretty expensive cover seen as we'll have Reardon to cover the backline and if RER is correct -tbf he's usually spot on- we'll have Walker in Sykes' centre.
