It was well worth the trip over, just got back. Still totally buzzing. There were not many Bulls fans there, probably double the number Wire brought to us though, so we might be crap, but we are not as crap as them!

A Saints fan got escorted out of the ground by the fuzz... he appeared to have been very abusive and managed to make a young girl supporting Bradford cry, big man!

Some little chavs were at the front of the Eddington end being idiots too, but they were noted by their absence at 80 minutes!

Hey, it's not a competition, and nobody has to go, it's apersonal choice.

For me, though, this is one of the finest feelings I've evr had in my life, and I'm sorry so many missed experiencing the same thing. You don;t get a second chance, you had to be there.

What a night!

Its nights like that when you find the real fans. The non booing fans. The fans that actually get behind the team and ralley the troops when things aren't going well. Its a shame that not as many fans went as usual but with a bit of luck that will kick start the season. As for the booing fans of last week, they can stay away. The negativity isn't needed one bit.

We thought we'd be thrashed so we cheered and sang anyway. There were only a couple of dozen of us but we sounded more like 2000. We cheered all through the game and I felt like I'd actually been on the field taking the tackles by the end!
I didn't see the last 5 minutes as I had my eyes shut, just waiting for the roar of the saints crowd as they scored the winner.
Happily it's recorded this time and I'm now watching the start of the programme where everyone is wondering how many saints will beat us by

Your fans may not have been very many - and they were very few (we were trying to figure out, actually, whether Quins bring more than you these days!) - but boy were they vocal! And so supportive of the team. So well done to those who did make the journey, which must have taken some resilience given your humiliation last week.

Bradford were a bit like a team reborn tonight. Typical! Couldn't you have kept your rebirth until next weekend instead?

I could not go. Truthfully. But I envy those who did big-time. And it was just and well-deserved reward for people like Andrea, whom I know to be as dedicated and committed supporter as you will ever see.

If the Ford dealership weren't a long lost relation of Dick Turpin I'd have made the game tonight.

Pretty gutted I didn't attend tonight, can't beat the feeling of being there for such a great win.

I chose to spend my spare cash to take the GF out for a meal tomorrow instead. If I'd have known my bet would come in, I could have afforded both!

It is gonna take a pretty special meal to beat that though!

Knowing that you both have big appetites, you'll be glad that bet came off when you see the bill

Gotta say though, I never understand why around 30 saints supporters (in different groups) constantly weave in & out of us away supporters. Do they get their tickets free through the schools, as it's quite clear they're not there to watch the game

Of course I get your overall point though. It happens far too often, and I'm glad to say I wasn't involved with the Radlinski incident (which I believe Wigan made a full page comment on in the following fixtures programme).

Watched the game tonight in walkabout, been pretty much ashamed of our effortts this year.
Watchin repeat at 5.30 am and lovin it, wel done to fans who went.

Had discussed going to the game but in the end I was in London and didn't get back in time. Did consider trying to find a sports bar in the city somewhere but they'd probably have a guiness premiership match on!

Was a frustrating time trying to tune Radio Leeds in from just south of Sheffield. Also I hate listening to the game as it permanently sounds like the oppo are going to score. Got home for start of second half to see Koppy's try.

I didnt go. I have no excuses. I had the time, could afford to go, my car didnt breakdown, I wasn't ill. I just couldnt face the prospect of trekking across to St Helens for an expected 60 point tonking. I'm going to Edinburgh, expect to travel to Celtic and Quins but couldnt face St Helens.

I even briefly discussed with my wife whether we should go to the cinema and skip the tv coverage.

I dont really regret not going. I'm 100% sure that if I had gone we would have been thrashed.
