A very interesting meeting. I walked away thankful that the news was at least not as bad as I had feared walking in.

If there is ay good news, it is that finally we are going to be attempting to live within our means. There isn't anybody who is going to pump large sums to fund us. However, the result, certainly for the next year for starters, is going to be some real austerity. Fans are going to have to come to terms with chicken and egg, it's no use whingeing that X is leaving, or Y is not being signed, unless you have the bank balance to send your own cheque to solve that particular problem.

The continued absence of half the Sky money is going to be a crippling factor, and if so-called fans all stay away in droves then the knife will have to cut ever nearer the bone.

This club is being run like Billy Smarts Circus....I admire the honesty, but surely this financial analysis should have gone on before we started signing players??

So a shortfall of 400k to make up this season according to T and A report. Oh and we have a shortfall of 500k from Sky money. Funny that.

Yet still we will have some on here who will say that the loss of sky money made no difference.

Why don't you behave like a fan? Why don't you show at least a tiny bit of concern for the future of the club you claim to support? Instead it is all I told you so's. It's really not the time is it?

So now you have what you want, and are obviously delighted that the club has been run into the ground as predicted by you, what do you want next? You won't be happy with the three we have in charge at the moment I am sure, so who would you like? What would make you, as a "fan" for once, actually get behind the club?

The Aus/NZ players are usually allowed holiday leave for 2weeks (or so) over Xmas. But this is a bit early for Xmas.

Fwiw this is exactly what we went through 3 months ago. Need to clear the decks and start again. Not easy but you need every single person pulling in the same direction. And cut every single cost you can. Then you back the badge not the players in them. They will come and go, the club and fans will always be there.

If the RFL are trying to help,I can't believe they cannot grow a pair and stand up and say the Bulls are getting full Sky money.They should tell the greedy clubs who wanted an extra 50k to take a running job.Never mind it's SLE who voted for it,the RFL (supposedly) run the game,end of.

According to the Directors last night the RFL have been helping the club. As far as getting the sky money back is concerned that's out of RFL hands.

I can see us "doing a Wakey" over the next few months while we get a grip of finances. However I do have more confidence in the current Directors who were brutally honest last night.

In theory this season's shortfall should have nothing to do with the reduced Sky money, as the budget should have been set to take that into account. That is a red herring I'm afraid.

What it does show is that the supposed £900k cash injection by OK never happened and was a figment of somebody's imagination, seeing as it was heralded as being enough to see you through to the end of the 2014 season. Clearly the cash never materialised and has left this big hole in the budget.

I have oft asked you people think that in order to be a "fan" then you have to continually support a club who are behaving in an immoral manner?

We have cheated our way to titles, we play with peoples livelihoods on a regular basis and we blunder from one disaster to another thanks to incompetence and mismanagement by the very people who tell us lies and get totally undue praise. Remember all of those who proclaimed OK as the second coming of Christ?

The club are a joke and had it been other sides then I am sure that the sympathy would be somewhat lacking on here. I cannot turn a blind eye to this yet find fault with other sides who are not as bad as we are.

As for, "I told you so"? Maybe if more people were not blinkered from the start then we could avoid this happening. How many more warnings do you need?

As I have already said, the new guys have a lot of work to do, due to no fault of their own. Hopefully they start doin g it right and get the house in order. Hopefully they will treat the fans with a bit of respect and stop trying to fabricate the truth in order to suit their own needs. I have always wondered what the point of a Fans Forum is when the answers are rarely 100% fact. It does seem that last night has started putting this right.

Right, so I will ask again. What does the club need to do to get support from people like you who claim to be fans? In my book, the definition of fan is someone who supports through thick and thin. Are you prepared to do that? I have not seen that in you, not yet.
So what do you want to happen, what do the club you support need to do to get your backing as a loyal fan?

the RFL could quite easily fund the Bulls by buying the lease to it's Iconic asset....ooopps...already been there, that might be why the other SL clubs accepted the extra Sky money to balance the books....

Except it was the clubs who got the money and not the RFL.
